Comfort Suites on Lovekin Bl is the best place you'll ever stay if you're going to the annual Quartzsite, AZ Gem Mineral Show....we we're greeted warmly by Sal at the front desk...he is one of the original front desk staff since Comfort Suites opened few years ago...and of course we were even more happy that we got the room we wanted (226) that is because I spoke to Thomas (another original staff) and requested it few days before we checked in....comfy bed...very clean decor is appealing...extra blanket/pillow already in the drawer...extra towels too.... spacious bathroom...have fridge microwave....coffee maker with coffee/tea provided...large TV screen...breakfast is ok although I would have like cooked oatmeal not instant...food is replinished soon as it looks empty...restaurant nearby as well

Arrived early. Was surprised with early check in. Room was on third floor. Was presented very well. Very clean and orderly. Was very spacious with fridge, micro wave, coffee maker, fold out couch, very comfortable bed. Noise was acceptable considering location. Several food options close by. Breakfast option was as expected and very well done. Price was quite high but sometimes you get what you pay for we have paid that much before but got a truely 5 star in another location. We realise when in BFE you have to pay the piper and would do it again.

Room Tip: Top floors were less noisey

We have stayed in Blythe at least 20 times over the years as it is close to the mineral and fossil shows in Quartzsite, Arizona. The Comfort Suites is by far the best they have to offer in Blythe. This was our first visit to this new hotel and it was very nice. Everything is new and well kept. The rooms are large and funtional and the rates are reasonable. There is a large flat screen, microwave, fridge, coffee machine (bad coffee) and free WIFI in each room. The suites have a nice layout with a fold out couch and a chair in the front of the room and comfortable beds in the back. Of all the hotels on "hotel row" this has to be the best insulated from freeway noise. There are only two small things preventing an excellent rating. As with almost all hotels of this caliber they provide a hot breakfast. We have a lot of experience with Country Inn and Suites and Holiday Inn Express and this breakfast did not measure up. There was plenty of variety but the eggs were hard with no taste, the sausage was slimey, and the waffles were so hard they were impossible to cut. Also, the ice machine on our floor didn't work. But the stay was still nice and I would recommend this hotel if you need to stay in Blythe.

Room Tip: As with most hotels, get a room on the top floor if you don't want to hear the folks above you w...

We called on the road to the Comfort Suites in Blyte because it had such great reviews and after being in an RV for a week we needed a break. I asked what they had available and was told by Alexandra that there was just one room left. I booked the room and arrived to be what appeared to a very nicely kept property. While checking in I witnessed another guest who complained about equipment noise in his room. He was told that there were plenty of other rooms that he could be moved to. The room I was given was clean, spacious, warm and very tastefully done with all the amenities I expected such as a refrigerator. I went out to ask for an ethernet cable to take advantage of the high speed internet and again heard that there was plenty of room for a couple who were ultimately turned away because they had pets. The cable worked perfectly and the internet speed was very fast. I took advantage of the laundry room which is clean and had very nice set of washer and dryer. I went to the front for quarters, which they cheerfully exchange for bills, and I did my laundry. The breakfast was lovely with an attentive staff and a nice variety of breafast options. At 10:54 we packed our belongings and left to load our vehicle. When I returned at 11:03 to double check the room and return the ethernet cable, my key had been deactivated. It appears this is the new trend in hotel stays, but it was a surprise to me. I checked out at the front desk and had the keycard reactivated to make my final inspection of the room. It was a clean and comfortable stay and I would stay there again because for the location it is very convenient. I was annoyed at being lied to.

Room Tip: This is right next to the highway so the wrong room might be exposed to highway noise. I would make...

On a long drive from Northern Ca. to N.M. We stopped in Blythe. What a surprise! Beautiful rooms, clean, comfortable, very nice staff. I will look forward to a night here. To bad there is nothing to do in this town, this would be a great hotel for an extended stay. Rates was approx. $120.00 seemed a bit high but I suppose they can get it because you are in the middle of no where.

Wow! Nice hotel! Spacious with sitting room. Free internet (wireless OR wired). Nice free hot breakfast, friendly staff, comfy beds, refrigerator, microwave, nice shower head.

Ok, one bad thing. The pillows were a bit hard for me.

Great housekeeping and bathroom amenities.

This, my friends, is where you want to stay. You definitely can go somewhere else cheaper.
If you do, good luck with that.

Oh, one more thing. Walk out the front door across the parking lot and visit the Red Cactus Bar and Grill.
You can thank me later, unless you crave fast food.
And if you do? Good luck with that, too.
:-)

This summer I was driving all the way down Highway one to San Diego and then turned in towards Gran Canyon. Never heard about Blythe before but reach the place in the evening. There was a thunderstorm in the sky over the little town as I arrived. Extremely dry and warm air. Got a room in Comfort suites. Rates are OK and the airconditioned room was clean. Breakfast in the morning included. Only one night and then on to Arizona through the desert
