“The only hotel I would stay in Blythe!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2012

Hotel staff are excellent and friendly! Hotel lobby and hallways are clean and new. Rooms are very comfortable with a ton of available plug-ins for electronics! Only minus was there was some hair left on the sink when I checked in - the bathroom sink area could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Otherwise it was a great stay and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Blythe, CA.

Right off the (very busy) I-10. Very easy to find. Check in was a piece of cake.

Rooms are updated, stairwells smell like fresh paint. King room with 5 lamps gave reasonable light. TV is large, remote worked well, reasonable channel selection. Wifi had medium speed.

Shower was hot, water pressure bordering on lame. Towels were nice, pillows plentiful, bed sort of cardboardy, but not bad. Luggage stand present. Good use of furniture, like the sitting/working areas. Lots of easy to find outlets, a serious plus.

Rooms had microwaves, small coffee maker, well stocked coffee supplies and a small bar fridge. Hair dryer has good "blow" and worked well.

Has a pool and laundry facilities. I didn't use either of them.

301 has a European hand-held shower head (with a broken slide/stand -- I fixed it, it is badly installed) that only a leprechaun would be able to stand under.

301 was quieter than 216 (where I stayed last time),

Back to doing what they can...here's what they can't avoid. There isn't anything worth seeing out of the windows, all views are of parking lots, freeways, gas stations and fast food. They're a baseball throw from a busy freeway, get a room as far to the south as you can manage, but only the stairwell is silent. You'll end up running the air/fan for the white noise.

Room Tip: Go South, as far from the freeway as you can.

Stayed here last year on my way to LA, this trip we stayed in Blythe to attend the auto races. The clerk greeted us immediately and had our key issued within a few minutes. The room was very clean. I noted on our last visit the sheets were stiff and scratchy. They have improved a bit with washing, but they are still not as soft as other hotels I've visited. Breakfast was good, it included sausage and gravy, waffles, creak, bagels, toast, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. Noise level low and didn't hear any hall or neighbors. I would stay again.

Spent one night there on our way to the Victorville, CA. area. The motel was more than I expected and the bed was absolute heaven! Very clean room and the staff was exceptional.
Can't say enought about Comfort Suites - will definately be staying at one where ever our travels take us - if there is one available.

Friendly staff provided a quick check-in. The room was first rate. I usually pass on the "free" breakfast, but this one was as good or better than most coffee shops. I'd like to go back and check out the pool.

Great spot to spend the night traveling I-10 from AZ to CA or in reverse. We stayed here twice going and coming from AZ to Yosemite National Park and found it a very nice place. The rooms are very clean and ours was quiet since we requested a room away from the highway. The breakfast had a sufficient choice of items to get you started on your day.

Room Tip: Request a room as far away from the highway as you can get.

We were working on a project in Blythe, and needed a decent hotel to stay in for th next three months. The project manager went with the first place that popped up when he did his online search, and le me say that it was NOT the Comfort Suites. After one night in the other hotel. Immediately located the Comfort Suites and spoke with the manager and tried to negotiate a deal with him. By the end of the week we were saying at the Comfort Suites and the crew was extremely happy.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and they accommodated us. The motel manager was extremely nice and helpful. If you e er need anything during your stay, go to the front desk and ask for Lacey if she is still there. She was very helpful and friendly.
