The place is old and worn. The only part that felt clean was the bathroom and the linens. The carpet was bad and seemed dirty and I would not walk on it without shoes. The tables were also questionable as to cleanliness. I would not stay here again. I would rather pay more and have a decent place to stay.

Room Tip: No good rooms, don't stay here.

accidentally booked a smoking room and couldn't switch because all nonsmokings were booked. I went back and looked and the fact that it was smoking was rather obscure. needless to say, the room STANK and was dingy and horrid. carpeting gross. showerhead was low even for me, and i'm only 4'10"!!

room does have fridge and microwave though.

Arrived about 2am dirty stinky and had just wrecked my tractor trailer into the center median 20 miles west of town. The tow truck driver dropped me off. I could tell I had awakened the Desk Lady from a sound sleep. I looked terrible from being out in the dirt, my debit card was empty, and I could not get in touch with my company to get a corporate card number.
She saw I was tired, dirty, and rattled from the near death experience and said " let's get you in a room and we will deal with all this in the morning". It's ALL ABOUT SERVICE!!!!!
The place is an older style motel and is at the edge of town but has been renovated nicely was clean and felt safe. It was a half a block to a couple of local restaurants and a couple of local bars there was a pool that looked very inviting.
The WiFi was free but a little week. I was out on an end room. The others might be stronger.
Go there!

Don't believe the pretty pictures here or elsewhere, this motel is a dump. It is not located on the address listed on google maps nor their own website, but a half mile further down the road. We arrived at 9PM to find everything closed. The front desk staff inhabit one of their rooms and probably fell asleep. The rooms we booked were not available because someone else processed our booking incorrectly, so we were offered another room but that was, of course, 110F. Both rooms lacked towels for the amount of people on their booking, there was mess on the floor and in the sleeper sofa´s we needed to use. Yuk! Clearly poor management: no less than three separate people did notdo their job properly. Their restaurant closed down six months ago, so they can NOT serve breakfast. I specifically looked for a motel that could because we wanted to leave early. Their own website and the so called 'user pictures' here state there is a lovely restaurant at the place, and breakfast was included in our booking. There is nothing to eat anywhere close to this place. We still decided to stay because it was late already. Apart from the outdated and poorly fixed interior (stocked with one bar of soap and three satchels of Decaf, nothing else) there is nothing here. There is no sign of any renovation, only demolition. Apparently the place has been given up entirely. They didn't even bother to ask for my ID or CC! The street is populated with scary looking people who can access the adjacent pool just like that, so this is not a place to let your kids go for a swim. This is a place to stay no longer than absolutely necessary. We were happy to leave alive. I have never had a worse experience in a motel than this.

Room Tip: Turn around your vehicle! Make your way back into Arizona or stay on the HW towards a less lugubriou...

The Rodeway Inn in Blythe, CA was surprisingly good. The rooms were clean, quiet and had been remodeled recently. Both day and night shift staff were very nice and helpful.

Breakfast was hot and good, but you had to get a voucher from the office and walk across the parking lot to a restaurent to eat. It was a little unusual, but it worked fine

One other odd thing is that the address is not the GPS setting, so go by the caution on the reservation page. I missed it and had to do a little searching to find the place.

All in all, a very good stay with nice people.

Room Tip: The center rooms are the furthest from the street, but after 11pm there is not much traffic on the s...

We stayed here after driving through from Kingman via Oatman (Route 66).

Blythe has very few accommodation options therefore, after reading the tripadvisor reviews we decided on this property. This motel was priced at $88 inc tax and fair for the overall cost. The rooms were clean and had everything needed and the free breakfast at the grill onsite was a nice additional touch.

However, the things which let this property down was the bathroom. Our room had a dodgy toilet that rocked as you sat on it and leaked. No fun when stepping into a puddle in the wee hours to take a pee!!! Then there is the water temperature!!!! This has been set by the hotel to just a shade above luke warm. Doesn't matter what you do - full bore still gives you a warm only shower!

This meanness is the memory which we carry away with us as we love to have a refreshing shower to get us going and on the road.
