Being a big fan of curries, I was delighted when this restaurant recently opened in the small parade of shops in Mosman Park.
The space is large, a bit souless and barren. It's a low key dining experience attracting mainly the well-heeled from the locality, and pretty casual.
Service was friendly, although our waiter was not very on the ball and needed some prompting for drinks, ice bucket etc. Reasonable selection of beer and wine. BYO wine only, at a very reasonable $3.
Food choice is fairly typical Aussie-style Indian. It is not very hot (I would ask for a side serve of chillies next time).
Good quantity of food with average presentation. Taste lacked a bit of depth. Fish curry was excellent, however, with a huge amount of fish. Nan breads average (pretty flat and not bubbly).
If you live nearby, this restaurant is definitely worth a look in for some decent Indian food. If you don't live nearby, I wouldn't bother to travel too far.
Much of their business appears to be take-outs which we have tried a few times. These were good.
