Description: Cantina cantina noun. /kanˈtiːnə/ def; a type of restaurant/bar popular in Italy, Mexico and Spain. Established in 2008, we are one of the original, funky and dynamic venues located on the famous Beaufort Street Strip in Mount Lawley, located next door to the iconic Astor Theatre. A local canteen at heart, we are all about fresh, local and seasonal produce. True to our name our food is influenced by Mediterranean cuisine with a modern Australian twist. A fully licensed venue, our extensive wine list features a range of exciting domestic and international drops, as well as lots of cocktails of course! So come on down, bring your friends and family, and enjoy yourself in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where the staff are always ready to greet you with a smile.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner- Cantina is great! There are also BYO evenings.

Love the coffee, the duck liver parfait, the gnocchi and pasta.

Service is always knowledgeable and efficient.

What an amazing find on Beaufort Street at inner city suburb, Mt Lawley. We shared the small eats like the smooth as silk duck liver parfait, salumi platter with excellent chorizo and morcilla (black pudding), accompanied by house made pickled cucumbers and carrots. The highlight had to be the baby goat braised with pearl barley topped with tangy lemon yogurt. Even the brussel sprouts were to die for ... nice n crispy on the outside topped with pine nuts and chilli jam. We will be sending all our friends and talking about this place upon our return to Queensland. The service here was impeccable and knowledgeable. The perfect evening. Thank you.

After our son played football on Sunday morning we went to nearby Beaufort St to find a cafe for breakfast. We don't know the area very well but knew there was plenty of choice along there. We chose Cantina 663 purely because it was packed and the food we saw on the plates looked good.

Great choice - the coffee was fantastic (great silky milk guys) and the food was all well cooked and presented and in good quantities. Service attentive and knowledgable without being patronising.

$65 for 3 of us including a second round of coffees. Not cheap but worth every cent.
