The room was clean, and the location was good. There is an outdoor pool and a hot tub (which looked like it could use some cleaning). The bed was okay, but all of the pillows were so thick and lumpy that I couldn't sleep, thus the lower rating. Parking was plentiful, and the breakfast was really nice, with biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries and fruit. Staff was friendly. Reasonable rates.

Room tip: If you want to swim, the rooms around 124 are right across from the pool and hot tub.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable but traffic noise and the front of the hotel disturbed some. Not so bad for rooms further back.
Good breakfast selection
A good option when travelling the Eastern Sierras

Stayed for 2 nights to meet a friend halfway between Reno and So. Calif. Room with 2 queen beds. Clean, modern and comfortable but very little room to visit besides sitting on the beds. Price was competitive for Bishop.Convenient to walk to a variety of restaurants. Staff was helpful and friendly. Coffee in the lobby was very good. Breakfast is typical for the Comfort Inn chain. Variety of hot and cold choices and fruit.

Parking spaces are very narrow. OK for a passenger car but very tight for today's modern trucks & SUV's. Good place to stay within a reasonable budget traveling along 395.

Stayed here for one night so as to get up to Mammoth early the next morning. Room was clean, bed was fine. The laminate wood-look floors make the room feel much cleaner than other motels I have stayed at in Bishop. The real reason to pick the Comfort Inn over others on the same street is the free breakfast! It was shockingly good. Sausage, biscuits and gravy to rival any southern eatery and a cinnamon waffle maker!

Room tip: King rooms are only on the second floor, FYI

King rooms are on the second floor which was great! Room was clean and good sized. Loved the ‘hardwood look’ floors, much better than carpet. Great selection for breakfast and the staff was great. We would stay here again!
