Cool stay. People at the front desk are very kind. The rooms are ok. The breakfast is included in the price but the choice is limited and there is only one table to eat (and it's in the lobby!).

The first room they gave us has a water running problem, so the front desk was very polite and gave us a different room. Our second room, the heater didn't work, the front desk lady had to switch on the heater from the main control, and it finally worked. There's big gap under the door, we had to use a towel to block the cold air coming in. We didn't use the hotel towels, but they are paper thin...good for rag. Complimentary breakfast was bad, strawberry jam seems like been there for ages, and no peanut butter. Room is not clean, carpet are worn. The outside looks so nice, but the inside room was terrible.

This was one of the more expensive Days Inn hotels we booked. Our first impression was very positive: the hotel looks good and the room looked even better. We now know that AAA raters do not really sleep in a hotel or have breakfast before awarding their diamonds. In this hotel we had our worst night so far on our trip.

In spite of their appearance, the beds were really horrible. We are use to hard beds (and even like them), but this was like sleeping on the floor. Furthermore, the airconditioning was far from sufficient for the room we stayed in. So we had a sleepless night in a hot room on a lousy bed.

Again, like an earlier experience in Fresno, the hotel seemed to be occupied by construction workers. This was a surprise to us, because the hotel was much more expensive than the hotel in Fresno. The construction workers were loud, smoked a lot and were ever-present on the parking lot and on the balconies. They left early in the morning (5.30), but they couldn't wake us up because we hardly ever slept that night.

Breakfast was a disappointment, too. No choice, no quality, and no breakfast area.

To sum up, we think this hotel is a disgrace. One of the worst we stayed in, veiled under a positive first impression and a large number of undeserved awards. Expensive but awful. Choose any of the other hotels in Bishop. All of them are better located and will probably be better than this Days Inn. Yuk.

If you stay in Bishop, hopefully in another hotel, visit the Dutch "bakkerij" in the center of town. They have earned many awards, and have wonderful bread!

This hotel off the main street and should charge more than they charge this hotel is listed as a 3diamond AAA rated and they deserve a Four star. We were met with a warm smile and helped with a Five STAR Service!!!!!!!! This motel looked like a brand new hotel. When I went inside and asked the front desk had told me it was about 15 years old. The owner took very good care of the place and the front desk had told me it was just remodeled. We were checked in and the rooms had a different looked to them which complemented the area. The service was Excellent and will always stay here.

We drove by and the property looks pretty good from the outside, so we decided to get a room for the night without requesting to check the room out. Big mistake!!! Beddings, shower, toilet, and almost everything else looks like it is from the 70s, never been updated, things are falling apart, and it was not so clean either.

Stayed at the Days Inn for 1 night on July 9th. Bishop itself has a lot of chain hotels and motels which we drove past and most of them seemed packed out with their carparks full. we got to days inn and it was practically empty which I guess wasn't a good sign. The motel itself looks tired, the whole area smelt of drains, the pool is dirty and the furniture completly old and split, the whole place looks tatty. The room itself was ok carpets were reasonable new etc but there were ants everywhere in the room and after using the shower the water would not drain away and then the sink became blocked in the morning. We got up early so we could just get out of there. told the guy on reception our problems and he didnt even apologise. Apparently this days inn is a francise so my advise is dont bother!

I had a good feeling about this hotel. We had never had any problems with Days Inn before, but this hotel completely changed my mind. First off, the hotel is off the main street in a not-so-good part of town. They must be remodeling because there is excess furniture, pictures, curtains, etc. just piled up at one end of the parking lot. The hotel room smelled like bad body odor and there were only two towels for the four of us. There was one ceiling fan, but it was over what should have been the table and chairs--which weren't even there. My children wanted to go swimming so I took them. But, the fish-cleaning facility is right next to the pool so the pool area smelled like dead fish. The pool wasn't very clean anyway, so we didn't stay too long. We went out to dinner and when we got back our keys didn't work anymore. I had to have the front desk recode them. This might sound bad but the worse part was the ants. There were ants in the bathroom, ants in the bedroom, ants everywhere. When I checked out, I mentioned the ants to the man at the front desk but he seemed to be already aware of the problem. I would have liked to have been put in a room without ants if they knew that the ants were there. After all this, I would never stay at this hotel again. There are plenty of other hotels in town that looked really nice.
