On our way back from Yosemite we stopped in for lunch. I had the pulled pork sandwich and gobbled it down in less than 10 minutes so good, smoked, tender, spices were perfect . 4 different sauces to choose from at your table and roll of paper towels. Clean restaurant constantly busy, and the sweet tea hit the spot on a hot day.

We travelled all the way from Georgia to the little town of Bishop, California for some of the BEST Texas BBQ! Reasonably priced. Large portions. Great sides. Had to wait in line to order, but well worth the wait. The girls working the restaurant were so sweet and friendly, even though they were SUPER busy! Made us feel right at home. You can't go wrong here.

Right, you need to be early. The family-run place closes at 9, we came only 40 minutes before that and could have only brisket, pulled pork and sausage. But this was fine, with very good sides (cole slaw, beans, baked potato) and interesting sauces. Even on hot days, outdoor seating is offered with cooling spray.
Recommended!

My wife and younger son had lunch here earlier in the week and shared some of their pulled pork with my other son and I. so we stopped here again heading south to Vegas. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. some interesting Texas decor inside and some outdoor seating. parking can be challenging and we actually parked behind the place on a back street across from a ball field. My eldest and I got the tri-tip which was the best we have had. Have not seen it in the east. Talked to Patti, the owner, and she said it is just now in part of Texas but is mostly a California thing. I plan to ask the butcher at Publix here if he can get it! The baked potatoes were good as was the mac and cheese. Patti asked us when finished how it was and we answered consistent with this review. Would definitely recommend it if you want good BBQ and are passing through here. the meat is well-seasoned and good flavored. no sauce is necessary, but they have about 4 kinds if you are so inclined.
