Delicious pizza after a full day of hiking. The flavorful Bronco Combo pizza was fabulous!

The quality has gone downhill in the past few years. Greasy pizza. But, it is a great place to take kids. They have an arcade room and it is very kid friendly.

We order their pepperoni, black olive and seasoned beef pizza and it's always good. Their sandwiches are very good as well. My husband gets their roast beef and I get their turkey sandwich. Their food is always fresh, the correct temperature and a decent meal for a decent price. Their staff is always friendly and efficient!

Was here on Saturday night of the Thanksgiving weekend -- place was packed -- think the locals know a good thing when they have one.

We ordered a Bronco Combo, a Hawaiian Pizza and a Calzone. Can't speak to the other food, but the Hawaiian Pizza was really good; they don't stint on the ham, either -- not little specks here and there, but full slices, and lots of pineapple and cheese. The Bronco Combo - named for the local h.s. football team - looked good, too -- my brother certainly enjoyed it.

We also had thick slices of their cheesy bread -- again, no stinting on the cheese.

What I also appreciate is that the whole staff was mostly comprised of local kids -- helping out the local economy a bit at a time. And all the kids were personable, eager to please, and seemed to know their job. Just something that I notice when I go to a place.

Pricing was probably along the lines of what you were expect at a restaurant that isn't part of a huge national chain (Pizza Factory is a franchise, located in a few states, but it's still pretty small). Maybe a dollar or two higher than "usual," but what you get is a hot pizza with lots of toppings, and a crust that even something like me -- who doesn't usually like pizza crust -- eats down to the smallest crumb. They also have coupons on their website: http://bishop.pizzafactory.com/

There's a salad bar, and they do make a point that it's not a "go back over and over" kind of salad bar - signs and the pricing reflects that. But hey, you've got to keep costs down somewhere. Since we were getting the pizza to go, didn't use it, but it looked adequate.

Parking in the back, and they have a patio out front -- not used in the winter, tho!

Next time I'm in Bishop I'm going back, definitely.
