“Great stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 21, 2011

Our family rented two rooms at the Bishop Rama Inn and it was a great place. It's very conveniently located, the staff is very friendly and accomodating and breakfast was reasonable. The place is very clean and quiet. I would highly recommend!

I stayed here for one night.
First the good news - The check-in was quick and efficient and the front desk (Ashley) called after I had settled in to make sure everything was OK. Also, there`s a Von`s close by if you want to pick up some groceries.

The rest of the story is: I stayed on the ground floor of this older two story, smaller facility (no elevator). The floor of the room above me creaked loudly whenever the guests walked around the room and my non smoking room had a musty, smokey smell to it (I`m a non smoker) and I ended up with a headache. I wont return.

Stayed one night at this motel on the way from Yosemite to Death Valley - Bishop was a fun and convenient place to stop. The property doesn't look much from the pictures but it's a two storey building in fair condition down a quiet street. The main road in Bishop is a minutes walk away with plenty of shops, restaurants etc (we dined at Whiskey Creek on the terrace and went bowling at the ten-pin bowling alley). Reception staff were friendly, the room a good size, good shower, and quiet. Free wi-fi, and complimentary breakfast in reception (which we brought back to the room). Overall nothing out of this world but everything done simple and well and for less than £50 this was the bargain of the holiday.

The motel-style building with otside access to each room wasn't very promising at first, but our room was very nice and wasn't missing anything comparing to any hotel of this level (only much easier to enter with all the suitcases). Free wifi with a good coverage is a plus. Nice and competent staffat the reception.

Clean comfortable hotel just off the main road. Helpful staff, More than adequate continental breakfast compared with other hotels of this nature. Beds and pillows comfortable. The Location is quite quiet and for those who like bread, donuts and cakes also really thick sandwiches made to order the "Sheepherder Bakery" is right around the corner on the main road Not to be missed during your stay. We will stay here again

Room Tip: We have always been given a room to the rear of the hotel with a small balcony off the room these ar...

Warm desk service, nice continental breakfast selection for a small motel, although they need more tables & chairs.
The room was clean, tho the decor a bit on the older side. Comfy bed, good shower and reasonably quiet, as you're off the main road. Wi-Fi worked ok.
It's an older establishment - walls are a little on the thin side, but that's expected, esp. with outdoor hallways.
Whiskey Creek, Jack's and McDonalds restaurants are all within easy walking distance.
A good stopover spot.

Room Tip: Avoid room 212... by the top of the stairs... so at night, guests pass by on the way to & from t...

It is just off the main highway so we had little highway noise. We chose a ground level room with no second floor to lessen noise fro other guests. the front desk helped us chose that room - they were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location in the center of town is good. We had a pleasant stay here.
