My friend and I had dinner here and we liked the food very much. The service was also very good--attentive but not overbearing. She had the veal marsala and I had the lobster lasagne. Both were good, but I especially liked the lasagne which was rich, but irresistably delicious. The crab cake appetizers were also good. They have a nice selection of wines too.

I would definitely recommend this place. We had lunch and it was delicious. I had the whole wheat pasta with the basil tomato sauce. It looked like there was not enough sauce at first glance but there was plenty and the pasta we done perfectly, which is difficult with whole wheat pasta. My husband had the meatloaf and another person in our party had the salmon. Both were wonderful. The salmon was done to perfection. We will be returning to this place when we are back in Big Bear. They also have a unique mixed drink menu and I would recommend trying some of them.

Highly recommend this little bistro. The chef is the owner and her husband is a terrific waiter. We enjoyed our first meal so much we went back the next evening. If you like garlic, their caesar salad is to die for!

The food was not bad for the location. It's all relative! The service was quite good, however, the blackened salmon was dry and the meat lasagna lacked flavor. Our dessert, strawberries with marscapone, looked a little slopped together, but the flavor was good.

Craving slightly upscale Italian and thought this was a good fit. We arrived towards the end of dinner service as the last table. Service was terrible, not for lack of effort but obviously short-staffed. Took 20 minutes to get a menu and another 10 minutes for water. Bread was several days old and stale crusty, not good crusty. Pesto butter was a great idea but wasted on the bread. Since the introduction to the waiter took so long we asked to order right away and skipped the appetizer. Food took another 30 minutes and looked like potential but had major problems. The stuffed shells were days old AT LEAST, the pasta was rubbery and hard at the edges and filling was dry. Nothing fresh about it. Antipasto salad was better but bathing in a pool of dressing. We got our check and raced out of there, almost two hours after we arrived. What a disappointment.
