Delicious food... Lunch is a better value than dinner... Plenty of food. Lamb tikka is amazing.... Service is slow but friendly... Worth the wait...

“Great Masala & Naan”
Reviewed March 15, 2012

This place came highly recommended from two people and it didn't disappoint. Nice lunch specials with big portions. We loved the lamb masala, mango lassies and garlic naan. So light and good! Some of the best Indian food I've had in SoCal.

“surprisingly nice lunch”
Reviewed February 22, 2012

My husband and I had an anniversary lunch here with our 10 month old son on President's Day. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the value of the lunch time menu.

Food: tasty, well presented, good size portion for lunch, the only improvement that could be made is that mine was on the cool side

Value: great value

Atmosphere: relaxed, nice decor, family friendly, our 10mo son was given his own water in a paper cup, they didn't seem to mind about him eating some of my rice and grilled chicken, but one waitress passed comment when I was cleaning up what he had spilled on the floor

Cleanliness: toilets were clean but sink was dirty, table, plates and cutlery were clean, floor had some dirt on it

Staff: mixed, one very friendly and accommodating, one told us that we could get coffee over the road when we asked for a coffee at then end of the meal (we had seen another table with coffee), so that was a bit strange!

“Interesting to try Nepalese dishes”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

Good Indian and Nepalese dining in downtown Big Bear Lake. We ate dinner on a Sunday night during President's Day weekend. We arrived around 5:30 and were seated almost immediately, although the place was nearly full. We tried the Chicken Mo-Mo appetizer -- which looked like a Chinese potsticker, but the filling was very different than a potsticker (shredded chicken with spices). I'm guessing this is a Nepalese dish, because I have never seen it at any other Indian restaurant. We really enjoyed it. The vegetable korma was cheesier than I have had elsewhere, but it was chock full of vegetables! Tandoori chicken was tasty, and the naan was fluffy and warm. Service was a little slow on the night we were there. The party behind us was also very loud, but amusing.

“Great meal! We will be back!”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

My husband and I went Saturday evening...on a weekend that was very crowded in Big Bear due to a huge snow fall. The place was crowded but we were seated within a few minutes and our drink order was taken promptly. We had to wait a bit (maybe 10 minutes) to order our meal...but the menu was unique and we needed the time to look it all over. The selections were great and their Indian food was superb. It was hot and fresh. The lentil soup was divine and the veggie soup was made to order with very fresh veggies in the broth. Good selection of Indian beers, which my husband enjoyed trying. Our meal....shrimp in what looks like shot pot...was delicious. The service was good. We will definitely be back again.
