“Good Service !”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

I am sometimes slow on getting around to posting things, we went to CESH for a late lunch during midweek food was good , it was nice to sit and it a quiet lunch with no interruption's from the busy day to day activities. We had time to enjoy our drink and talk , without a waitress standing over us ( service was great ). We just ordered a simple lunch type meal which was cooked well done just as we had asked for . Next break we get will be back.

“Great Food and Friendly People”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

We visited Big Bear Lake for the first time and tried out this place on our first night. I had the Sizzling TriTip Platter at the recommendation of our server. It was great, flavorful, tender, and huge. The meat was served on a sizzling platter drizzling with butter and sprinkled with tiny pieces of garlic. I had the baked potato with butter, sour cream, and chives and baked apple. The sides were also great. The dinner was a special for $21.95 (usually $23,95) and it was worth every penny. My husband had the Pork ribs, also at $21.95, and said they were great. They were accompanied with rice and baked apple. The rice was a mixture of wild and long grain. The portions were huge. We brought home steak, ribs and rice, enough for an second dinner with the addition of some vegis. Our server Chelsea was friendly, efficient, and helpful. She also helped us select a bottle of wine. When we left several of the patrons spoke to us and this really added a pleasant touch to our already great dining experience. We are planning to spend two months at Big Bear Lake this summer and will definitely return many times.

“Grew up in Big Bear but just discovered this tasty spot”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

I've been to Big Bear a million times (my parents live there) but just discovered this restaurant recently. We've been twice in the last couple of months and the food has been great both times and inexpensive.
The hot wings are good. The chili is good. The fish and chips are amazing. The ribs are good.
That's about all I can lay claim to - we never had to wait, but didn't go at a popular time so you might not be so lucky.
This is now our number 1 restaurant for lunch in Big Bear. Ok, maybe #2 after Maggios...

“True cowboy type!”
Reviewed February 5, 2013 via mobile

Our family went there a few weeks ago food was very good western feel atmosphere with pictures and decor reflecting the old west. Service was very good despite being very busy great steaks and Gigantic baked potatoe. Only negative the noise 100 bucks easy for family of 4 with no drinks but all in all very good
