“Good food”

This place is very family friendly. We never had to wait long, and the food is good! It is very close to shops and the theater.

“Hacienda Mexican Cuisine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

Fairly new restaurant, it was packed for a Friday night. Aside from the traditional Mexican dishes, many unique ones. They also serve ribs and steaks and burgers or the young ones. Service was perfect, atmosphere was delightful. Prices were a little high, but the quality of food was exceptional.

“Good food, reasonable prices.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

Great option for "Mexican" food in Big Bear. Prices are good, staff is friendly. They always have a few different sports on the various tvs, not my thing but if you like that sort of thing.

“GOOD MEXICAN FOOD IN THE SAN BERNARDINO MOUNTAINS”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

My wife and I have been eating at El Jaca Lito, on Pine Knot Blvd, in Big Bear Lake for several years (the owners of the Hacienda Bar & Grill own both locations). The Hacienda recently went through an extensive renovation that significantly expanded the restaurant area so we decided to give it a try. The menu at the Hacienda is very similar to the one at El Jaca Lito and it is a good varied menu. They have Taco Tuesdays ($1 tacos) and locals tend to like both locations (Hacienda and El Jaca Lito). Their drinks are good however, their prices have gone up for both food and drinks. The only negative I have with the Hacienda is that the acoustics are horrible since the renovation. When they are busy, you cannot carry on any type of conversation with anyone, even if they are right next to you and the bar is open to the restaurant meaning that the bar and TV noise increases the din. If you want a quieter and more intimate experience and some good mexican food, I recommend the El Jaca Lito restaurant on Pine Knot Blvd instead.
