The Blvd is a landmark restaurant and the famous Beverly Wilshire, but that was before Four Season's made it a 'manufactured' 5 Star as opposed to how it was or as I remember it, when it was The Regent Beverly Wilshire' or as you might remember it from the movie Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. Today it is much different and the glory days of The Blvd are far behind. The food is 'average' nothing special, the prices are ridiculously over priced and the service is messy. The wait time to get a soup is absurd and cocktails are although good, but extremely pricey. The atmosphere? Well its a hotel, gone are the celebrities and instead it seems more like a hotel in Dubai or Saudi Arabia, as it is mostly people from the Gulf in every table, sort of like an Al Queda convention all day long. For those of you who had family or friends affected by the twin towers attack in 9/11 this is not the destination for that. But regardless of that, the place has fallen dramatically in service and style of what it was. At night they sometimes have the lousiest and noisiest band playing the most annoying tunes, so unless your from the Gulf you will probably find it as annoying as any other American under the age of 80. The most frustrating part about this restaurant is the wait time to get your food, the service and the overpricing, all together The Blvd is a let down.
