We stayed here for our honeymoon in 2009, initially we weren't too impressed with out check in because we thought as it was our honeymoon and staying 2 weeks we could get complimentary upgrade as we did in hilton Hawaii. However the stay did get a little bette. The swimming pool is really nice, the hotel is in great location. We have booked to go back for our 5 year anniversary, lets see if the service has gotten any better. Fingers crossed. Otherwise we won't be returning.

This hotel was fantastic. As a gold member, I got an instant upgrade to a lovely king room with a large balcony. The room was great, but the bathroom was awesome (there was even a flat screen TV in the bathroom). When I go on vacation, I love to indulge, so working out is important to me to counterbalance. The gym here is really great, there were a lot of top of the line machines, enough that I didn't have to wait. The pool is really a great way to spend a warm, sunny afternoon. I thoroughly loved this hotel and can't wait to come back. Oh and a quick tip, leave your car at home (or at the rental place) because you are in walking distance of so much and the bus stops right near the hotel (I know, no one in LA takes the bus, but it can be faster to get around than driving).

Visiting my son who works in the industry and had a most enjoyable experience! Close to Rodeo drive, Century Mall, The Grove, Robertson and Melrose. The room was very comfortable and really enjoyed the buffet breakfast and bar by the pool. Staff was wonderful. Every-time my son asked for his car, two bottles of water were waiting for us! Extremely nice and would go back again!!!

The hallways stink as if moldy and musky. One bad experience with front desk personnel. Problem with bill and was not resolved to my satisfaction. We had a pre-paid parking card, yet this person at the front desk at check out added parking and said the card was no good for meetings. Yet the card was given to us by the hotels event planner.

The Beverly Hilton is simply iconic. There is nothing like it for a true Beverly Hills/Hollywood/LA experience. The hotel staff has always been gracious and accommodating. Now, I know to be aware of film production interruptions and lack of concern for guests' enjoyment of facilities.

A huge disappointment occurred: A young mom was discouraged as she had planned her day at the pool. But, the pool was closed due to a film crew. She understood but was disappointed in missing her last day at the pool. Later, the same disappointment occurred when my husband and I wanted to have dinner at the pool. Same issue, a film crew was going to film so the entire pool area was off-limits - even the lounge area doors were closed off to keep out the would-be fans from interrupting the filming. Hospitality was soon left to the guards watching for the intruding hotel guests (there were none).

This attitude was and is a disappointment. For us, it was not a big deal and the pool area was soon reopened. But, the hotel should really value its reputation of hospitality and at the very least advise guests ahead of time of pool closures so guests can plan their stay and day trips around pool closings, film productions, and private functions. In fact, it's very rude to do otherwise, i.e. let guests believe they will enjoy these amenities and just close these areas on a whim. If the hotel believes guests will be awestruck by these film events, both the film industry and "Hollywood" need a reality check. Guests don't care about any film production when the pool is expected for a last day in the sun.

I'm a big fan of the Beverly Hilton. I can't count the number of times I've stayed here with great experiences. But, time changes things. I could see the production from my window. But, it would take very little effort to apprise guests of the interrupted use of facilities, if the hotel cared to do so. This is not the review I expected to write. But, witnessing this new mom's experience compared to my past experiences cannot be ignored. Too bad, the hotel accommodates film production at the expense and enjoyment of its guests. Also, I asked and it was a pilot for a new series, there were no celebrities, no autographs to request, no fans. But, this is not the issue, a little consideration for guests is the issue. Just a hint to the Beverly Hilton, let guests know what to expect - and what not to expect. It's not that difficult.

Thank you for your continued patronage of The Beverly Hilton. We deeply regret the disappointment you experienced during your most recent visit. Portions of the hotel are occasionally reserved for private functions, or in the case filming and we sincerely apologize that this caused you an inconvenience. We are sending you a private message to see if there is anything we can do to make up for the frustration you experienced.
