“Good choice with a touch of Hollywood history.”

This was our second stay at this hotel. We came back because it is a nice hotel, in a great location, and overall offers a good value for the area. The rooms are a decent size with a modern look, comfortable feel and earth tone colors. They also have large wall mounted flat screen TVs in the bedroom which is a very nice feature. The baths are great looking with stand alone shower, private water closet and a small flat screen TV. Many do not have bathtubs, if that is important to you. This time around we had a room with a large balcony. These are great to have in the warm weather, and in general also tend to be on the sunnier side of the hotel, so you may feel it is worth the extra money. Our room this time around showed some small wear and tear, but in general we think the hotel is in very good shape.

Besides the nice room, another reason we like this hotel is the location on the edge of downtown Beverly Hills and other cool areas of the Westside of LA. It is also nice at this hotel that self parking is easy and not bad at $25 a night. The gym has been moved since our last stay. It had been located in two cabana rooms next to the pool, but is now located inside the hotel in a windowless area. The space is very nice, but I think it is a little smaller than before and does not have as much equipment. It is still pretty good for a hotel gym.

The only thing we do not like about the Beverly Hilton is the pool area. The pool is large, but it closely surrounded by the hotel on all sides. All you see is a lot of concrete and the white stark building of the hotel, with very little room for some lush LA landscaping.

Finally, it is hard not to stay at this hotel and not get a little rush thinking about all the Hollywood stars that have walked through this hotel on their way to the Golden Globes or other industry events held at the International Ballroom.

We have stayed at many hotels in the Los Angeles area, and this one works well for us for the reasons mentioned above.

The room was lovely great bed and bathroom loads of room etc but view of a road and a multi storey car park and on floor 1 was not good especially when I asked for a high floor room with a nice view!!!! And these where made about 3 months before I arrived but guess as they had a ball on that night the guests got priority!!!!
They did not even have a room that I could get changed in on my departure I had to use the toilets!!!
I would not stay here again.

  • Liked — The big high bed!!!
  • Disliked — Costs of drinks and food and no request granted

After reading reviews on TripAdvisor booked three nights during Christmas week in this lovely hotel. The rates were much less than we expected and the location was perfect. The hotel exceeded our expectations from service to comfort. The bed truly was wonderful and the room while a little small was very sleek, comfortable and pleasant. Had a wonderful view of the Hollywood Hills (&sign). The bathroom was huge , very impressive. Will and have been recommending this hotel to all since our stay. Perfect in all ways.

Stayed in this hotel twice so far, both times for 1-2 nights. It is a very nice, reasonably priced hotel. Service is always impeccable, staff is always smiling and polite, rooms are nice and clean and restaurant is great. The location of the hotel is ideal and price that we paid was very reasonable (less then $200.00) per night in Oasis tower. Walking distance to many LA attractions and to shops. Will stay there again on my next visit.

My daughter and I stayed here in mid-December and just loved it. We booked an Oasis room which was on the ground floor and had a sliding glass door that opened directly onto a large garden area complete with a fountain centrepiece. The room was quite spacious and well-appointed. The beds were fantastic as were the pillows. Staff were friendly and helpful. We only had room service breakfast (excellent) and "afternoon tea" (entertaining as this is a fairly new concept based on the English "afternoon tea" and the waiting staff went to great lengths to make sure that I understood that I would be getting a cup of tea and not coffee.) We had a late checkout which we had arranged over the phone at the time of booking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hilton and look forward to going back one day.

My husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay at the Beverly Hilton. The value for the rate we received was excellent. The hotel was renovated recently - the rooms are modern and fairly plush. The beds are comfortable and the large plasma tv is very nice. The bathrooms are also very nice, although the water pressure is a bit lacking. Balcony is very large and has two chairs, table and a couple of loungers.

The service was very nice and accommodating - check in and out went smoothly. The concierge was helpful as well with directions.

Valet prices were pretty normal for LA, and most big cities. They were prompt in bringing the car around, and left two bottles of water each time, which was a nice touch.

All in all, we had a very nice stay at the Beverly Hilton. We would return again.

We recently spent two nights at the Beverly Hilton and really did enjoy it. We got a very good rate on the Hilton website. Probably the best value I've had for a stay in Los Angeles. Check in was smooth (we had an early flight, and called them from the airport. While they had no rooms at that time, they called us back in an hour to say that one was available early.) The room was nicely appointed and had views of Century City and the downtown LA skyline. Location is great. Walk or short drive to Beverly Hills, walk to Century City mall. Close to all on the Westside. Gym was pretty nice as well, which is something I seek when choosing a hotel.

Only complaints. Even in December, the sun on our south facing room made the room quite hot in the daytime. I'm not sure how a summer day would be. And I guess it's just part of in-city hotels, but even self-parking is pretty steep.

Little bonus on our stay: During our check in, Jack Nicholson walked by, and our room was on a floor where press junkets for a couple of new released movies were going on. So a number of stars coming and going. My wife loved that stuff.
