“Delightful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2012

Room was compact but delightful and opulent in its own way. An intimate hotel in a great location in Beverly Hills. Immaculately clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The rooms are all white and looked bright and airey, and the bathroom was sparkling clean.

This place has a small frontage, and only a few tables and chairs but if you are lucky to get one out front and you love to watch how the other half live, this is your place. We had just finished snooping and needed a quick " fix" so two moitos it was, I had an usual one, a Blackberry, with fresh blackberries, Karen had an original one. At first you think well that is a generous glass full but inside is the biggest ice cube you can have, it was about 45 mm square maybe even 50 mm. Ah well it was the spot to have it and they were spot in, so I was happy. We did check out the web page for rooms and if you want to stop in the heart if the shopping district well worth it, as taxi fares quickly add up when you are away from here.

Great hotel, location & service. The Luxe Rodeo is one of my favorite hotels in LA, this was my second stay here at the Luxe and I loved it as much as the first. Rhys the Australian on the front desk was very helpful and knowledgable about local restaurants and sights . I would happily recommend the Luxe to both travellers and business people alike.

Good comfortable beds, great staff and right in the heart of Beverly Hills. All in all great value to be staying in the heart of Beverly Hills if that is what you want. It doesn't have the vast spacious areas that the other big name hotels have and there is no pool unless you go up to the Bel Air property which you are entitled to do. I cannot commend the staff enough for how friendly and helpful they were. Definitely recommend if it's a bed and location you are after but not if you want to hang out in a hotel with pool and grounds. The property does have a cafe with a couple of tables on Rodeo drive for people watching.

Room Tip: Rooms not facing Rodeo drive are quieter although we did face Rodeo drive on 1 stay and it was fine...

Dear Bird_without_a_name,

Thank you very much for your honest feedback about your impressions of our hotel. We do offer a relaxation area in our hotel which is located on the second floor Mezzanine Floor. It is a courtyard with several lounge chairs and tables to enjoy a quiet sunny day in Beverly Hills. I will be delighted to show you this area upon your return to our hotel. I sincerely thank you for your wonderful comment about our passionate team members. Everyone has read your feedback with great joy and pride.

We had a pleasant, if not spectacular room. It was relatively small, but represented the charm of an older hotel. What distinguishes this hotel, however is it's location and service. In the heart of Beverly Hills, we were surrounded by great high end stores, and a terrific art gallery at the corner of Wilshire and Rodeo. The service was impeccable with the staff being extremely helpful and efficient. In summary, this was a very nice older hotel, with plenty of charm and we would stay there again.

Room Tip: The elevator is slow, so a lower floor might be better. The rooms in the back side of the building...

If you want to be in the middle of the action--this hotel is for you. Staff very friendly and accomodating--they were even perky for my 5:00am checkout!!
Rooms are extremely small though, I was there by myself and only stayed 2 nights, so that was not as much of an issue, but 2 people would really have a hard time navigating between the bed and the bath. Rooms were very clean, but probably need an update.
Nice cozy bar area. Outdoor cafe was in the process of renovation, but the idea of having a drink while watching the shoppers on Rodeo is quite appealing.
