The level of service sets the Peninsula Beverly Hills apart. Service at every turn is incredible - front desk, valet, room cleaners, at the restaurants, at the pool. One example: the staff stopped by to drop off fresh fruit and i asked if they had chocolates. The answer was no, but ten minutes later they returned with a plate of Peninsula chocolates, presented beautifully.
The rooms are decorated to a very high standard, however a bit too traditional for my taste. The technology on offer is a bit old (e.g., no iPhone connection to the Bose). It's a privilege to a quibble about that.

Dear pv1585,

Thank you for taking the time review your recent stay. We appreciate your compliments about the incredible service at The Peninsula Beverly Hills.

Regarding the in-room technology, please know there is a technology panel for iPhone/iPad & A/V connectivity beside the executive work desk in each room, allowing you to connect laptops or mobile devices to the TV. Additionally, our staff would be happy to provide you with any necessary cords or chargers upon your next visit.

We hope to welcome you back to our hotel again soon!

Sincerely,
Offer Nissenbaum

This is an amazing oasis in Los Angeles. It is tranquil and serene, but offers everything you could want within its property or very nearby. The staff is exceptional (I cannot emphasize that enough), the rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the location is convenient with fantastic shopping and restaurants nearby. The Peninsula caters to your every wish and really, this hotel ruins anywhere else you may ever stay.

My stay at The Peninsula was exceptional.
From the valets, to the bell boys, to the food, to the pool, to the spa...from the moment you stepped in you are treated like a VIP.
I cannot say enough about this hotel...rooms are beautiful and the embroidered pillow cases are so special. The beds are so comfortable.....and the bathrooms are huge.
The choice of healthy beautiful food no the menu, the pool and facilities are fantastic.
I cannot say enough about my stay....credit to all the staff at the hotel...you make everyone feel special. I cannot wait to come back.

I checked in last night after midnight, with a friend--each with our own room. My friend asked if he could get some laundry done, and the desk guy said "Yes, what time would you like it? my friend said 9am...a few minutes later a bellman picked up the suit--and they dry cleaned it that night--even in NY it is tough to find a hotel that can get dry cleaning done after midnight--this is just one example of how well-run the Peninsula is.
Air conditioning works so well--really cold.
Sheets are like sleeping above the Spanish Steps.
Internet is flawless.
Room service is delicious--so, my friend ordered pancakes for breakfast--i asked if they could make me a halibut sauteed in garlic and olive oil and served with rice and beans--Note, this is not even an item on the DINNER menu--but they made it for me for breakfast--fresh fish, cooked to order. Such a great hotel...I had a massage at the Spa. Therapist had twenty years experience and did great work.

Room Tip: There are a wide range of rooms...some have better views than others--but inside every single one i have been in has been great. I used to love the Bel Air Hotel better, for just a fun weekend, but since the re-model i have not liked it as much.

Our room at the Peninsula was very cosy, pastels colours, and quite big. There was french doors which is very nice, when you want to enjoy the great weather of california, the office desk is equipped with all kind of plugs, dont need to crawl on the floor to charge your phone! One negative point : there is a lack a storage, the closet is for one person, not 2! The bathroom is big and luxurious. The service is very good, the staff is very attentive to your needs. The roof terrace with the swimming pool is amazing, with a great view and a fire place for the chilly nights.
I really recommend this place, it is certainly the best place to stay in L.A.
