“It can be a "hit or miss"......”
Reviewed June 23, 2012

Still a top spot, but the "hit or miss" factor is beginning to show once in a while. At a recent visit in May the meat quality was not tops....At these prices, it should be top quality every time....but perhaps the concept is becoming a little tired. Should be easy to fix, though.

“Excellent but overpriced”
Reviewed June 15, 2012

The food here is of excellent quality. Portions are sized just right and preparation is well done. The facility is modest and while the tables are somewhat tight it works. I would think a place like this would have more comfortable chairs, but these get by.
The hard part to accept is the pricing, especially for bar drinks which are excessive. There are better places not far from this location where you will receive a better value.
As it has been marketed as one of the "IN" places or the place "to be seen" I doubt my comments will change many minds.

“Fabulous dining experince in Beverly Hills”
Reviewed June 10, 2012

want a great steak (or tuna steak)?? Try Cut, Wolfgang's signature restaurant in the Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills. Prices are very high - with limited drinks expect to pay over $100 per person - with tip - probably around $200pp. But the quality of the food is outstanding, as is the service. On our visit, Wolfgang Puck was eating at a booth nearby - and producer Jerry Weintraub and Paul Anka dined right next to us. Wolfgang has two other restaurants in Beverly Hills, but he eats here as he knows it's the best!!

“Disappointing”
Reviewed June 5, 2012

Although the Restaurant was quite beautiful the food was a bit disappointing. This was business dinner while in town for trade show. We were greeted promptly and shown to our table. Service as one would expect was very good. After ordering drinks and reviewing the menu we started with salads which were average and not worht $19.00 each. The bone marrow appetizer was amazing. We were a small party of three of which two of us ordered steaks and 1 seafood dish. The seafood was well received and fresh. The steaks however were the disappointment. They were over cooked and dry. I do not often pay particular attention to presentation but one could not help staring at a white plate placed in front of you with a piece of meat in the middle and nothing what so ever on the rest of the plate. Side dishes Al a carte were expected but the potatoes were diced on a very small plate (guessing it was 1 potato) and very burnt. Again $20 for a side dish is not unusal for a restaurant of this caliber but one would expect a great dish. Desserts were very good.

All in all an average restaurant.
