“Unexcelled Quantity, Good Quality”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

First of all, if your concern is quantity of roasted meat, you really can't beat this place. The salad bar, much more than a salad bar, is large and varied and as far as I sampled good quality, but many of the mixed dishes weren't familiar and had no labels to identify them, so it was hard to know what to sample. The meats also were varied, but everything--beef, pork, linguica sausage and chicken--were all cooked well done. I asked for "rare" every time but there was no such thing. The bottom sirloin was perfect that way, and the spicy house specialty was good also, but the quality didn't quite match the quantity or the upscale appearances. Great atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. We were paying for ourselves, but my guess is the prices were quite high.

“High Quality Food - You won't leave hungry!”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

Fresh meats of so many varieties brought to your table by friendly professional servers. I just had to learn how to use the "stop sign" card on the table - green means to keep bringing food to you, the red side means "leave me alone to recover" well that's my interpretation anyway!! The salad bar also has a wide variety of choices, fresh & tasty.. the meat is grilled & full of flavor! Great wine selection too...Recommend!!! I think the plate was around $56 so could get costly for families - but it's worth it for the experience!

“Birthday celebrations”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

Saturday 4/13 we went to Fogo de Chao in Beverly Hills CA to celebrate our four birthdays - what a wonderful, delicious, relaxing evening! Their salad bar has something for everyone, from smoked salmon (which was devine) and marinated mushrooms to simple greens. And then came the meat - all different cuts of beef, chicken, pork ribs - you do not leave hungry! Included with the meal are sumptuous cheese popovers, deep fried polenta (my favorite side), garlic mashed potatoes and fried plantains. Fogo de Chao is a definite must and they are located in several large cities throughout the US. Well worth the set price!

“One os the best churrascarias around!”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

A churrascaria (Portuguese pronunciation: [ʃuʁaskaˈɾi.ɐ]) is a place where meat is cooked in Churrasco style, which translates roughly from the Portuguese for 'barbecue'.

I was first introduced to this chain at the Houston location over 7 years ago! The BH location is by far one of the best! Whether its for lunch or dinner you can never go wrong! when you go more than 2 times they know you and almost treat you like family! The head staff is congenial, attentive and more than willing to ensure you have a stellar dining experience. BE WARNED!!! This is a popular spot so call ahead a few hours on the same day or days prior for reservations ESP during weekends!

To date, we have had approx. 5 dinners/parties/events/celebrations with groups ranging from a 70th birthday celebration including 30 guests in the wine room, graduation celebrations, anniversary party or a just because dinner.

Try everything! Great salad bar with crab salad, green apple salad is the best! Fresh cheeses and breads but don't overdo it there -- save room! The meats are seasoned to perfection and are succluent! The side dishes are delicious! The rolls melt in your mouth! The ambiance of this location is phenomenal TO ME! The staff there whether it was Danielle, Prizi, Giselle or anyone there -- they will take good care of you and your guests! the meal for two can average $120 (not including tip) but a good dining experience sometimes is not cheap ESP in BH! You should leave with a smile and a full stomach so don't rush, relax, savor the tastes of Portugal. Who knows, you may run into a few directors, actors like Donald Faison or a few Lakers and Clippers there which make for a memorable evening.

“They've Got the Beef”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

If you like meat, meat and meat, this is your mecca. Just don't come too late over the dining service time period as the meats served will lean towards "done" rather than rare.
The cold platters are abundant, fresh and well done.
This is the best churrascaria in Los Angeles by far.
The caipirinhas and the fried plaintains are also da bomb.
