finding a neighborhood restaurant that is good is woderful. The food is interesting with flavor and spice. The service is amazing and they are willing to go beyond the menu. Ask and you will get. The view of the pool is warm and inviting. The bar scene is up beat with lots of different age around..... good neighborhood find and modern decor

“Disgusting bar!!!”
Reviewed August 17, 2012

I live in the Los Angeles area and come here frequently to go to Oliverio because they have delicious food. Lately, there have been a lot of bar flies at the bar. I too work in the food and beverage industry and NEVER in my life has my restaurant ever had the bar so dirty and disgusting that there were bar flies flying everywhere. I mentioned something to one of the servers about it and they mentioned it to their manager, that was weeks ago and it is STILL disgusting!!!!! I don't know what's going on with the managers there but they certainly need to do something about it. Maybe a call to the health department would put some fire under them to fix the problem!

“Fresh ingredients, sylish setting”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

It starts with the garden salad. The spicy Italian arugula hits your tongue and you realize, there's something special going on here. Fresh ingredients make the difference. The greens are crisp and the dressing is noticeable yet not overwhelming. Then, your entree arrives and you're captivated by the aroma before the plate hits the table. The meal is exactly as the server had described. Chicken so tender you barely need a knife, cooked in clear juice with just a hint of red chili pepper. Food this flavorful makes you speculate Oliverio must be farm to fork. The server visits to refill your glass and confirm your satisfaction. You save room for ... dinner the next night. You choose sole over a bed of wilted greens. The flaky fish is a perfect light summertime meal finished with a trio of sorbet and gelato: coconut, vanilla and chocolate. Maybe you'll try mango sorbet next time you visit. Because, there will be a next time. Can you ever remember your tummy being so happy?

“twice the order was wrong but room service was fine”
Reviewed July 19, 2012

I ordered a parma ham, cheese and bacon omelette. The first time they brought me an egg sandwich with bacon on the side. When I sent it back they brought a salmon omelette. Never offered to comp it which I thought was odd. Room service risotto and salad and fine.
