Wonderful location in Beverly Hills hotel. Excellent entertainment, excellent food, wonderful drinks and most friendly professional service. The indoor area is comfortable and discreet. The outside patio/terrace area is beautiful and again discreet and comfortable. The service we received was wonderful and memorable. The staff is the Polo lounge made our holiday special.

I think the key here is to understand where you are going and what you are getting into. I find it amazing that someone knows how to use Yelp to review but doesn't know how to look at the place's menu and prices before going there.

This is the venerable Beverly Hills Hotel, home to dignitaries, celebrities and the ultra rich, did you really expect a $4 burger? What you will find here is a level of service and luxury that sadly is from a bygone era. You will enjoy the eden-like atmosphere of the patio or the vintage movie set atmosphere of the indoor lounge. You will experience high-quality food served to you by a uniformed waitstaff who will treat you like you are the royalty down the hall with the bodyguards standing outside the room.

This kind of quality of services is rare these days and like most rare things it comes at a price. If you are not a member of the aforementioned groups but want to visit this lavish and beautiful scene, here's my suggestion: go for breakfast in the late morning. Sit outside and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. If you're a couple, order the fruit, berries and yogurt; a hearty egg dish of your choice such as the huevos rancheros and a pot of coffee. Languish as long as you can. You'll be out of there for around 60 bucks including tip.

Park underground at the hotel and have your ticket stamped by the restaurant. That'll run you 8 bucks but you'll have the chance to see Elvis' Cadillac Eldorado, Steve McQueen's Mercedes convertible, and Michael Jackson's stretch Rolls Royce in the garage (as well as your basic Ferrari's and Lambroghini's).

This is not a place to just eat. It is an experience you'll never forget. Have your friendly waiter snap your photo; you may just have a celebrity or two in the background.

This menu has probably changed over the years--but not much. It is a place to see and be seen, and the garden is magic. Full of moguls for b'fast and ladies who lunch from noon on. If you are no staying in the hotel, book way in advance. The bar is an intimate night spot.

The Polo lounge is known for its rich history in LA / Beverly Hills mainly regarding stars and "a" listers. From the outside its preserved like the old movies, from the inside its wonderful in delivering a magical sort of Hollywood feeling.

The Polo Lounge has an inside and out for dining, we chose out. It was like a veranda and it was very calming. The service was white glove and truly amazing, the staff was being attentive.

The food was very pricey but expected. The food itself was to perfection and everyone was completely satisfied.

The real reason for coming was to sight celebs, and we did. There was one who will go nameless to carry the lounges tradition of privacy and no pictures but I will say she was an actress my kids knew!!! That really made it more interesting for them ☺️.

Overall I would return, I would sit outside and I would order the exact same thing! This place is aces.

A must try.

Dear snmurphy07,

It is wonderful to know how impressed you were with the history and heritage of the hotel … they don’t call the Polo Lounge “Hollywood's commissary” for nothing! I am thrilled you enjoyed your dining experience, complete with fun-filled star gazing. This always adds to the fun ... especially for your children.

We look forward to your return.
