This hotel is iconic mostly because of the film, pretty woman.
On the outside the hotel looks amazing, the lobby does look beautiful but the rooms are simply dated. The pool is shocking.
Service throughout the hotel is great however in terms of value for money I would not recommend this hotel. The location is very convinient for walking down rodeo but no one in Los Angeles walks anywhere.
I would not recommend staying here

Excellent service, friendly staff, awesome location, prompt valet service, very comfortable and spacious rooms. The holiday decorations were gorgeous! This was definitely a great choice and I would recommend it.

Beverly Hills does not come close to Chicago, SF, NY or London when it comes to holiday spirit so trying to find a place that gives you that feeling is a challenge. From the moment I walked in to the lobby and saw the Christmas tree decked out in Tiffany boxes and the wonderful smell of the trees and decorations I knew I was in the right place. I met girlfriends for a holiday dinner at The Boulevard restaurant. Most would have had dinner at Wolfgang Puck - Cut but who needs all that noise and over prices steak. Our dinner at the Boulevard was wonderful, the service spectacular and sitting in an elegant room with the band playing softly in the background was perfect.

I have never stayed at the hotel but have friends that did and they love its close proximity to Rodeo Drive and all the great restaurants and shops.

Room Tip: Only ate at the restaurant have not stayed in one of the rooms.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to post a review after your recent dinner at THEBlvd.

It will be my pleasure to share your comments with the team in the restaurant as well as with our in-house florist who is responsible for making the hotel look so fabulous and festive.

I wish you a very enjoyable holiday season and all the best for 2013.

I have stayed at the hotel on 3 occasions and each has been an absolute pleasure. From the moment you arrive at the hotel you receive the highest level of personal service. I would highly recommend it.

In summary:

Hotel decor is classic but modern at the same time and maintained to perfection

Intimate pool area with great service (small-medium sized pool and never had a problem getting a sun bed, even later in the day). Small refreshments are served for free during the day.

Very good gym

Brilliant food with a wealth of choice

Hotel car service (Rolls Royce in evening- however the car will only take you within a limited radius of hotel and there is often a long wait)

The service at the hotel is world class

Knowledgable and attentive concierge

Great location

Stayed here while in LA for a week. The staff were very friendly and always smiling - they were willing to help answer any inquiries. The hotel has a nice car/driver that will take you anywhere within a mile or so radius - during the day it's a Mercedes and at night it's a Rolls Royce. The hotel is more than willing to accommodate guests' needs. The front desk staff and the doormen treated each guest with respect and courtesy.

Our room was large and elegant. The bathroom felt like it just kept going - a large shower, a large tub, a closet, sinks and a personal vanity - all of the fixtures were well-done and the furnishings were inviting. The room was quiet, but the view out over the street was great to have. The hotel has a large lobby, an AMAZING spa that you MUST check out if you stay here, and a nice steak restaurant, which while a bit pricey, is absolutely delicious and to me, worth every penny. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
