Great location, right where West Hollywood and Beverly Hills meet. Staff was friendly and willing to move cars around as people left/arrived. Parking is $10 - a huge advantage - but very tight. Free Wi-fi was fine as was the free continental breakfast, served in their courtyard. What was once a pool is now all seating. Better yet is the lovely rooftop terrace, which they don't seem to tout much but is a highlight. I was disappointed my final morning there when all doors to the rooftop were locked, as I enjoyed having coffee up there each day.

The room itself was a bit musty and yes, it's small - I painfully ran into the bed once - but it also had a high ceiling and tasteful decor. The bathroom had been updated and offered Gilchrist & Soames soaps. Water was ice cold or scalding hot, which was unpleasant in an otherwise nice shower (no tub). A small fridge was available, as was a small honor bar of snacks. I liked their selection, although a couple items had past expiration dates and needed dusting.

Facing Doheny with Melrose nearby, road noise was apparent. I didn't open the windows often and instead used the AC for white noise. I personally would have also preferred black-out curtains and a softer bed, but slept okay. Renovation construction went on during the daytime.

Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel for 10 nights to celebrate our anniversary and to take part in the celebrations of L.A pride. We found the hotel's location to be very convenient for West Hollywood ( L.A pride, Bars, restaurants within walking distance), Beverly hills (Rodeo drive, Beverly centre) and it is a very short commute to Hollywood from this hotel.

The lady was very nice upon our arrival and informed us that our room had been upgraded due to our long stay there. Our room (No 205) was of a good size and suited us perfectly. We were given a safe for our stay.

The hotel is currently being refurbished but the noise did not affect us too much as the work was carried out all between working hours and disturbance was kept to a bare minimum. I am sure when the hotel has finished it's refurbishment then it will be even lovelier than it currently is and we fully understood the disturbance during this time.

Hopefully the hotel employ more experienced maids as one lady was working alone to clean most of the rooms and often didn't make it to our room until late afternoon (She also could have dusted a bit more)

The hotel has a courtyard that has the sun for most of the day and it is lovely to sit out there on a morning to eat your breakfast which was completely free. The breakfast includes a choice of two cereals, bagels, bread for toast, tea, coffee and donuts on occasion. A microwave is available to use at your convenience and an ice machine.

The rooftop terrace was also a lovely place to sit and escape, it was quiet most of the time.

I would like to thank one of the manangers at the hotel 'Pauline' for her excellent customer service during our stay. I could tell that Pauline worked incredibly hard at providing top customer service to all guests during their stay as this was evident throughout our 10 night stay there. She is a great asset to this hotel for sure.

We both had a lovely stay there in Beverly hills and would stay at the hotel again.

We were visiting LA for ten days incorporating the pride weekend. The hotel is in a great neighbourhood, close to the bars and shops of weho and Hollywood. We found the breakfast a great treat on the patio, the room we had was fairly large with a fridge, cable tv and a compact but functioning clean bathroom. I would really like to thank Pauline the manger for her continued great service. I am definitely going to return and look forward to seeing more renovations!!!!!

The room and the hotel is very small and makes one feel cramped up:( The place made me feel clausterphobic, i didnt have privacy, the courtyard was right at my door full of couches and tables,,, a cluttered mess, strangers lounging right outside ur door eating or reading the paper, i felt like it was a b&b, i was so uncomfortable that i couldnt sleep, u can hear footsteps, ppl loitering by ur door, so maybe the 2 nd floor us better, but again, too small for the price, the staff is pretty nice and accepted our complaint and agreed for us to checkout without a penalty.

Convenient location and surprisingly quiet (my room's window faced the attractive courtyard). The room was clean and the bedding comfortable - but certainly not large. The bathroom was functional rather than anything else and small. The free WI-FI was reasonably fast and efficient. There was a very limited choice of soft drinks in the fridge in the room. However, there is a large Pavilion superstore on Santa Monica Blvd a five minute walk away.

The free breakfast served in the Courtyard had excellent coffee and was all that was needed. The Italian Restaurant was closed but there are plenty of restaurants around.

The staff were all very friendly and efficient and called taxis etc.
