Cream is located in a bustling and fun part of Berkeley.
Usually there is a long line of people waiting outside, eager to try these cookie and ice-cream creations.
The short wait was well worth it for us - the ice-cream is served between homemade cookies or brownies and everything was absolutely delicious.
Unfortunately our experience was a little tainted by the fact that the three young staff members serving the ice-cream were... well... lets say having a little bit too much fun, or feeling a little too comfortable.
The level of customer care struck me as a bunch of teenagers having fun serving ice-cream, without really understanding what customer service entails.
As a result we - the customers - were not treated the way you would expect to be treated when buying at an iconic store like Cream.
Overall I felt that the lack of complete customer commitment and "lax" attitude took away from the overall experience.
