“coffee house?”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

This is a great place to hear all kinds of music.
But even though they serve coffee , I think the name is a misnomer.... It seem more like a big music auditorium then an intimate café or coffee house... It was really bright when I went. anyway... awesome music.

“Good acoustics; Nice Small Theater for Music”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

We went when Crystal Bowersox, of American Idol fame, was playing. it was a great little venue with comfortable seating (albeit no arm rests). The acoustics is good and every seat has a great view of the stage.

Seating is first come first serve - but even with a sold out house for this concert, you could arrive about 20 minutes before and get a good seat for the concert.

its close to BART - Bay Area Rapid Transit - so easy to get to it even from San Francisco and other Bay Area cities.

“Great Way to Spend the Evening!”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

My husband and I have been here several times for performances, with the most recent trip this past weekend to see Irish pipers (Uillean Pipes). We both like Celtic music and had not heard a performance of this type of Irish pipes. I will talk first about the venue which is very comfortable and laid back. You choose your own seat and there have always been plenty of seats when we have been here. There is a coffee/tea bar with snacks in the back of the room and you can enjoy your drink, snacks while you watch the show. There is also wine, beer for sale as well. The acoustics, sound seems good in this theater. We enjoyed the recent show as well as other shows we have attended in the past. There is a wide range of music here from folk, bluegrass, jazz, country, folk, latin, world; something for everyone. The pricing seems reasonable enough. Parking is easy in a garage almost next door to this theater. The nights we have come, there is a flat $5.00 fee for evening parking. I am pleased to support Freight and Salvage and recommend to anyone who loves good music!

“Monthly Song writer performances”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

We went to this incredible coffee house. The venue for a musical event was perfect. They have used reclaimed wood throughout. Very enjoyable. My Daughter-in-law won Best Song!

“The Real Deal”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

Ambience and great talent abound here. The room has fairly decent sound. You will see acts you will see nowhere else. Should be a historical landmark.
