A day in Berkeley is always interesting. The campus is clean and fun to walk. Off campus street life and restaurants are always gritty. Stimulating for all the senses.
Always fun to hang out around Sproul Plaza and see the life at Cal. Lots of student performances around campus as well as other cool things to see including the Campanile.
Great University. Coming from southern California, Berkeley was nice and cool. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Very bustling, handsomely laid out campus, interesting architecture: take the tour to the top of the tower, surprisingly awesome views of campus and whole Bay Area !
World wide,world class cosmopolitan metroplex! I have a B&B 21/2 blocks behind El Cerrito Natural Grocery Annex with Grid Alternative sign in garden out front.Berzerkeley is so expensive, I'm hosting profs and students from Inner Mongolia, New Zealand,South Africa,Argentina, etc.even NY!
