The Red Fox is located along the main street in Krasnaya Polyana (not Esto-Sadok as listed above in the address). I was there during the winter Olympics and looking for a place to eat Russian cuisine. As the Russia-USA men's ice hockey game was going on, there were no seats available inside. However since it was very warm outside, I was able to eat at one of the tables located alongside the restaurant. The restaurant itself is hard to find, just look for the Red Fox sign which stands out next to the British pub.
They have a menu in both Russian and English which is obviously helpful to everyone who doesn't understand Cyrillic. The lunch menu wasn't that extensive, but at least had enough options in which to choose from. I tried the Sochi pumpkin soup with a side of wild rice. The soup was very good as was the rice. The way the rice was cooked was very good and not just like your cookie-cutter ice you find at most restaurants.
Where they could use some improvement was on their choice of beer. They only had three choices, none of them Russian. It is kind of strange to advertise as being a bar & restaurant without a selection of beer. Otherwise I didn't see any issues. The waiter spoke English and was attentive throughout my visit. Prices were on the high side, but not as high for what I expected them to be for being Russia and with the Olympics going on. The bill still came to $35USD which is more than you would pay anywhere else. You will be paying high prices at all of the restaurants in the area anyways.
If you are in Krasnaya Polyana, the Red Fox is a good option to consider if you are looking for a place to eat.
