We had a good time at the falls. It is pretty touristic but a lot of fun. The climb up isn’t too bad.

We learned so much about everything on this excursion. Our guide, Alyse, I think that's correct, was so kind and smart, she taught us about the history of Jamaica from 1494 to now and explained lots about the plants and what they do for your health. The drive up there was definitely bumpy and long, but the van has air conditioning and Alyse pointed things out along the way so we stayed busy and it was cool to see real Jamaica. It was an hour and a half from Montego Bay but the drive felt more like 30 minutes. We learned how coffee is made and how honey is made and there was a delicious pineapple punch they gave us (they made it by boiling the skins of the pineapple, how cool!) And Alyse picked up a bottle of rum from the store on the way up and surprised us with it. When they gave us the punch, she then asked if anyone would like some rum added to ours. It is a lot of walking, but the path is shaded well so you don't get too hot and at the end, you eat a delicious lunch of traditional jerk chicken, rice and peas, and pineapple slaw. Go for the scotch bonnet bbq sauce as it is so delicious and has just the right amount of spice, and don't forget to try the blue mountain coffee! Also don't forget to tip the kitchen, they work hard to prepare everything for the group. If you get car sick, grab some bay leaves from the plant they have there and smell them on the ride back, they will ease the nausea. This entire excursion was very relaxing and a wonderful experience.

Both coming and going to resort took too much time. They said we needed to be ready for pick up at our resort which was only 15-20 minutes from the airport by 11:15 AM for a 3:55 PM flight! Could have had enjoyed a couple more hours on the besch...
Also some staff weren’t helpful or friendly. Next time easier to just take taxi or hire private driver!
