My family and I stayed for 10 days and had a wonderful experience. The entire place was very clean, tidy and a good location for us. We have stayed at other hotels in the area but found the Hyatt to be excellent. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Their approach to daily services offers the guest a number of options to fit your daily needs. The breakfast was real and the evening relaxing drinks were a nice touch.

The Hyatt Summerfield suites in Belmont is a wonderful place to stay in. I have stayed here from 2006 onwards when I visit SanFranscisco.

All the rooms are real suites with kitchens, pans and pots, so that the guest can cook based on his/her wish. This all suite hotel features one bedroom and Two bedroom suites.
Each bedroom has its own private bath, TV and phone line with voice mail. The Suites are centralised Air Conditioned.

The Breakfast buffet is free and really good. Only Indian Guests feel bit difficult to identify which is Veg or NonVeg.

The Social Hour ( Monday to Thursday ) is really a good one for guests to start their evenings with beer, wine and light appetizers.

The High speed internet access ( WIFI) is complimentary.

The Hotel have its Gym and Swimming pool to chill during summers.

The Service is excellent and house keeping done daily or based on our request.

Free Parking is provided for the guests who travel with their cars.

The Belmont Railway station is 10 min walk and the San Francisco International Airport is just 12 miles away.

This hotel felt like another one of those condo retrofits. Rooms are walk-ups. We stayed here because we needed a kitchen and loved the Denver Tech Center location of this chain.

I suspect this location does well because it's across the street from Oracle and not because it is a great hotel. For example, when we were checking out, a young man was trying to check in but they did not have a room for him. They offered him a room at the Hyatt a couple of miles away and free cab rides, but he insisted on this location.

The room looked run down and in need of an upgrade - I suspect someone's cat used the chair as a scratching post.

Problems with details: 1) I had to screw the plug into the tub for my son's bath - it worked but a "guest" shouldn't have to do that (Both baths had this situation.) 2) The phone was meant to be hung on the wall, but there was no hooks to be seen as it lay on the desk - difficult to dial and hang up when the phone is sloping away from you. 3) Telephone wires with connectors sticking out of the wall in the bedroom. 4) Bathroom door bent and partially off rails - made it difficult to open and close. 5) Also, - what is up with the electrical outlet in the middle of the living room? It's a floor receptacle with the appropriate covers etc, and is safe, but who's decorating idea was that?

Management should do a detailed walk-through of every room in this hotel, list all these problems, and get them fixed.

Location was good, right next to US-101, but was not noisy.

Also, they apparently made some changes to internet access the day we were there so hopefully they have no problems going forward.

Great place. Too many positives to list. But there are two MAJOR problems that make this place useless for business trips. 1) horrible beds. 2) Internet access is next to useless. Ping rates of 500. Other then basic email, don't even try. Contacted manager, and their internet provider. Internet provider flat out told me the hotel was way underpowered for it's use. With Oracle walking distance away and most guests tech developers, this is ridiculous. Manager refused after several attempts to get back to me, even when I asked if there was a different pay option.

We stayed here with two young children in a two bedroom suite. Plenty of space and rooms were recently remodeled. This is right next to Oracle, which I assume many traveling workers stay here during the week. We used hotel as a home base for the bay area. Would stay here again.
