We stayed in this hotel for few nights in March while visiting Palm Springs area. We knew from previous reviews about the faults of this hotel and we did not expect much for the price we paid. Unfortunately it proved to be a bad choice.
The hotel is right by hwy 10 and the railway track. The noise from the highway was not so bad but the train whistling very loud few times during the night was much worse. It did not help that hotel is made of paper thin walls and has laminated floors in rooms. The not very considerate neighbours added to the disturbance. The wifi was breaking frequently or was not available at times. The microwave was broken.
The breakfast room is absolute disaster. Ridiculously small with only one common table with 6 chairs around. Hard to walk around it. Food was relatively decent though for this type of a motel (cereals, boiled eggs, waffles, pastries, bagels).
Generally the area around is not very pleasant, looks like an abandoned town except the Sizzler is next door for dinner and is quite busy. Something in Beaumont would be a better choice.
It is really too bad because the personnel was super friendly and helpful.
Would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless for one night with good earplugs.
