I stayed two nights at SpringHill Suites in September 2019. HUGE disappointment for a “Marriott” property. The rooms are older and run down, the carpet in the rooms had stains on it. The walls are thin and I could hear everything going on next door, which included the non stop door slamming. Evidently people staying in Bakersfield don’t have any regard for any other guests.

I requested towels in the Bonvoy app twice and called the front desk for them and never received them. We eventually had to go ask for them at the front desk the following day.

Very disappointed in this Marriott property.
I can confidently say I won’t be staying here ever again.

We stayed here one night in September 2019 in a Suite with King-size bed.
The room we stayed in was clean and had a nice, functional interior with a refrigerator, a microwave and a coffeemaker. The bed and Wi-Fi are good. The shower is very good and the room has very good lighting.
Unfortunately the rooms are noisy: we could hear voices coming from the room next door and we could hear every step from the room above us. I guess the walls and ceilings are very thin. On top of this, the air-conditioning in our room was very noisy. So if you are a light sleeper: bring your earplugs!
There is a laundry room with washing machines and dryers. An e-mail about this which i sent to the hotel before our arrival was never answered.
Breakfast Buffet is simple but good.

Room tip: So if you are a light sleeper: bring your earplugs!

I thought the bed was on the spongy side. And the plumbing sounds like a freight train in the morning when your neighbors stay showering. But it was clean, the staff were friendly and efficient, and it seemed safe. I liked being across the street from Costco too!

Check-in was fast, easy and professional. The room was clean and well maintained. This hotel has an indoor pool, outdoor hot tub and patio. There is also an exercise room with 2 treadmills and an stair climber machine. The rooms have all of the normal amenities and the bed was very comfortable, The free breakfast buffet had a good selection of items and guests were chowing down like there was no tomorrow. I will definitely recommend to others and return myself.

Stopped during long road trip - very quiet considering so close to highway. The staff was very good and accommodating. I rarely have special requests but it seemed we needed quite a few special things and staff accommodated every one quickly and efficiently. Would stay again if ever in Bakersfield.
