I had the opportunity to visit this property when business required me to be in the area. The front desk staff were welcoming and attentive. The capacity of the property appeared to be full with the number of parking spots taken. The property appeared to a bit worn probably due to the volume of patrons. Versus a recent stay at the Atascadero Spring Hill Suites appeared to be like two different properties. The gym at the BFL property was much smaller and offered fewer cardio machines versus the Atasacadero property. The lobby at the Atascadero property was much larger than the Bakersfield property. The room at the Atascadero property was nicer than this property. I typically stay at the Bakersfield Marriott Convention Center property which I find to be one of the best all around Marriott properties. The worker at the Breakfast buffet was efficient and hard working.
The comp breakfast buffet was good. Next time I might try the Marriott Townplace Suites property she returning to the area.

The hotel is dated but the rooms are quite spacious and the bed is very, very comfortable! Towels are very nice! Lots of parking! Safe area. Close to good restaurants. Staff seems very nice. Rooms should cost about $10 to $12 less per night because of age and condition of all in room furnishings besides the bed. The bed rocked!

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was WARM, and there's even a hot tub. Front desk staff were friendly, and checkin was painless. If you're in Bakersfield, this is a good choice for a place to stay.

The rooms here are wonderful and spacious! The double bed sofa couch room is divided just enough to be perfect for families. Two sinks make getting ready in the morn in a rush perfect! The TV situation is very weird but workable....The parking is a bit spread out but felt safe. The breakfast is anti-gluten friendly as more of these types of breakfasts are. The price was as usual.

Room tip: I really liked the dbl and sofa couch room.

Loved it. Comfortble quiet room, excellent facilities and the staff are constantly trying to find ways to make your stay a pleasant one. Highly recommend it, and for the $$ to stay here, it’s worth every cent.
