The rooms here are wonderful and spacious! The double bed sofa couch room is divided just enough to be perfect for families. Two sinks make getting ready in the morn in a rush perfect! The TV situation is very weird but workable....The parking is a bit spread out but felt safe. The breakfast is anti-gluten friendly as more of these types of breakfasts are. The price was as usual.

Room tip: I really liked the dbl and sofa couch room.

Loved it. Comfortble quiet room, excellent facilities and the staff are constantly trying to find ways to make your stay a pleasant one. Highly recommend it, and for the $$ to stay here, it’s worth every cent.

love: the modern looking hotel and room; the suite has a desk behind the wall from the beds, so I could work without disturbing the family. The couch (a sofa bed!) is also very comfortable when you just want to lounge and watch TV.

hate: the giant crowd during breakfast, with no place to sit

location: surrounded by many other hotels, however one side looks pretty run down

staff: friendly and helpful

pool: indoor (yay!) but steamy and very strong chlorine smell (nay!)
Jacuzzi: just the right temperature and powerful jets, hallelujah

breakfast: lots of selections, but issue is the small area and the large holiday crowd

noise: wall insulation is good, but the door insulation is so bad, I could hear the room (with screaming kids) through their door, through the hallway, into my room. same thing with the TV noise next door; the noise was coming not from the wall, but through the door, into my door, into my room.

summary: good hotel but you may have to put up with a few issues

Room tip: probably ask for a room away from other guests with children

I stayed here for one night for business. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was also very nice. The hotel had a very good, free breakfast with more than just the normal continental food. The location was great as it was near several restaurants and even a Costco was very close. The staff was friendly as well. I will stay here again next time I am in Bakersfield.

We stay here twice a year on visits to our family in the desert. Lovely receptionist and very helpful with the little extra requests. Room is very clean and spacious. The microwave and small refrigerator are much appreciated. Once booked, revisit site to check for rate reductions.

Room tip: Ask for room away from the elevator.
