We were motley crew of 9 traveling to Sequoia National Park who overnighted in Bakerfield. We like to use TA to vet restaurants when traveling. We were surprised to find that the best rated restaurant in Bakersfield was a diner where we could enjoy breakfast.
The biscuits were light and fluffy. We had them without gravy, they were delicious. Recommend those over the standard English muffin or toast.
Two choices of potatoes, hash browns or sliced with peppers. Both were equally delicious.
The cinnamon roll and pancakes were delicious. Consider a cimnamon roll to be shared by the table.
The omelette a and eggs were delicious especially after adding the homemade salsa.
Staff was helpful and patient. I high recommend this restaurant. It is not fancy but it is a great downtown down homestyle eatery! We will be back next time we are in Bakersfield.
