The staff here are always accomodating. My boyfriend & I like to watch various sporting events and they are always willing to find the games on one of their many flat-screen TV's. And, of course, their menu is wonderful with lots of delicious options. If you go to Bakersfield, don't miss the Black Angus as a lunch or dinner stop - you'll be glad you did!

The food was well prepared but way overpriced. $15 for a burger and a soft drink without the tip. Not worth it.

They have a campfire dinner for two which was a good value if you don't have there spendy $7+ cocktails
They stuck us in a booth that had a air condition vent above it that would kick on about every 5min for about 10min finally we asked to move as we didn't want our food to get cold when it came or to eat with our coats on. When we did ask to move they were very accommodating saying it was one of two spots in the restaurant that had that problem and the servers and staff loved them in the summer and would use them to get cool on the really hot days.
Can anyone tell me why if they know there is a problem why they would seat customers there? Especially parties with seniors in them?

We arrived at the restaurant around 9 pm on a Thursday. Concerned about keeping the staff much past the 10 pm closing time we were hesitant to stop but hunger got the best of us.

Upon arrival the hostess was very gracious and we pretty much had out choice of places to dine. The waiter was very attentive. Having very few diners in the restaurant I'm sure helped but he did a great job of letting us look the menu over without a rush.

My husband and I find that often times we are unable to eat the portions at many places we eat and have decided sharing is better for us. Tis place was no exception. We ordered the filet mignon with fried shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. Every thing was cooked to perfection. The filet mignon was so tender and tasty with nothing else added. The shrimp were crunchy and went very well with the cocktail type sauce provided. The steamed broccoli was absolutely delicious with the shaved Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Their molasses bread was quite tasty and a great compliment to round out the meal.

We had our food in very quick order and even at the late hour we felt we still got the special attention due to paying customers.

We have always had delicious meals at Black Angus in other locations and this is no exception. I would highly recommend this restaurant even late at night.
