Sky-Vue Lodge Bed and Breakfast

We stayed at the SkyVue lodge during one of our trips to Fayetteville for Bikes Blues and BBQ and it was just wonderful. Our cabin was quiet and private. There was plenty of room for parking both our bikes and our Suburban and trailer. Glenn and Janice were friendly and the breakfasts were amazing. They even made a breakfast in bed for my husband who didn't make it to breakfast in the dining room the second day of our stay. The cabin was old but comfortably furnished and very homey. The price was reasonable and they did not increase it for the busy weekend. We are staying there again this year for BBB and this time we are bringing our friends!

We stayed in cabin #7 the weekend of the 13th and 14th. The cabin was clean, well stocked, comfortable, and roomy. Our hosts did an excellent job of catering to our needs. Glen provided information about area attractions, and Janice cooked wonderful meals. The breakfast food is spectacular and the company is even better.
We hiked Devil's Den and toured the caves on Saturday, then we did the geocaching Battlefield tour at Prairie View on Sunday. The scenery in this area is absolutely breath-taking. It was one of the greatest trips we've ever taken!
I would highly recommend Skyvue to anyone who loves outdoor adventure, good food, excellent company, and comfortable lodging.

Decent place to stay - Religious overtones in policies etc. - My vehicle cost more than any of the cabins rented for. I usually have a glass of wine before bedtime, the wine costs more per bottle than the cabins rent for, but you're not allowed to have any alcoholice beverages. You have to smoke outside, no cabins available for people to have a smoke of a legally available product, subsudized by federal taxes...family atmosphere yet are not intune withaverage wordly person anymore and that in time will become their downfall I fear. Mostly older people that used to travel through there in their younger days when things were fun & lively. Now it s a seldom used by-way with nothing to draw anyone...just a place to sleep & eplore other places.
Just stop by and listen to the diatribe of religious zealots if you think I am flogging the mule so to speak...notice the demographics of the clientel & owners especially, they do not fit the area...Outsiders as the native say...

We enjoyed our stay and really it was a good little place to stay with an awesome view and very reasonable prices.Only had a few downfalls. The furniture in the living area of our suite was pretty uncomfortable. Dont even think of taking a nap on the couch. The complimentary breakfest was good and there was plenty for everyone, although there were no potatoes eggs or toast. We went to town the second day for breakfest. Would stay there again because of the price and location but would pay a little more for those 2 improvements. Al in all a good experience and would recommend.

We were there for Bikes, Blues and BBQ. The room accomodations were roomy and great. Glenn and Janice were great host. The breakfast's were out of this world. The sunrise over the mountains took your breathe away. Down home atmosphere. We will definitely go back.

We had a super great 3-day family reunion/anniversay celebration at Sky-Vue. The cabins & rooms were neat, clean, well-appointed with good/comfortable beds, plenty of room and a wonderful view of the Ozark Mountains from the cabin's back porch swing. The hosts were outstanding, very accommodating, with service above & beyond expectations. The food was out of this world and well prepared and served--no one went away hungery! As former B&B innkeepers ourselves, my wife & I marveled at how well everything was done and how well maintained the property was. We highly recommend Sky-Vue for any type of gathering or lodging. A GREAT weekend for all!
