This little coffee shop/sandwich shop is the only one in the White Hall area so there's not a lot of competition to encourage them to improve. It seems like they are making decisions that merely help them "survive". The atmosphere is a bit stale/cold and their products are extremely average. They have coffee beans in jars that they are trying to sell and you can tell that most of them have been there for a long time. The wraps and sandwiches are no better than what you can pick up out of the deli case at Walmart. They want to sell higher-end, more expensive coffees but they don't make the coffee strong enough and they don't set up decent creamer and sugars (which shows me they are trying to cut corners to say money). They do have free wi-fi which is always nice. But this just isn't a coffee shop that meets the expectations of today's consumer. They have one little couch and the rest little cafe tables. The atmosphere screams sandwich shop, not coffee shop. I think they are planning to move to another location further down Hwy 270...further from traffic flow. Maybe that will improve their atmosphere, cut down on the rent they are paying for the storefront in the Woodlands which will allow for them to start producing quality food and coffee.
