Visited after about a year away, love the new renovations that have been taking place in the hotel. This trip we stayed in one of the cottages that had some work done over the winter months, we hear they will be getting the new wood-look flooring. The little mini bar/table made it a fun place for us to gather and have a little in-room beverage and dining with purchases from the outfitters shop and some of the local bakery items from just outside the gate. Who doesn't like fresh Bimini Bread?
Our friends stayed in the hotel in a standard room and said they found it to be quite comfortable with the new flooring and decor we were told about. Big Game Club is a great little fishing hotel, after all that's why most of us are are here. Keep in mind the 5 dot rating (excellent) is rated at what the resort advertises itself to be and meeting these expectations. Friendly staff, nice amenities, dock in great shape...everything you want from a Bahamian fishing resort!More
