The resort was luxurious, quiet, relaxing & romantic. Our suite was the Golden swim up JRS. We arrived to a Happy Anniversary banner at our front door and our king size bed adorned with fresh flowers and rose petals amidst towel creation swans! The back sliding door walked out to a private patio with table for 2, two lounge chairs, and swim up pool with drink service a 5 feet walk away. All staff were very accommodating and friendly, no matter what the need. I loved trying all the exotic fruits, freshly squeezed into juices, at the breakfast buffet. The ambiance and menu provided at the L'Alsace French restaurant, one of 7 themed nightly restaurants, was amazing! Valentine's night at the main courtyard provided dancing and drinks amid heart shaped balloon decorations.

Room Tip: Highly recommend the Golden Swim Up JRS suite in Bldg. 7. Worth the extra money if you are looking...

This is a gorgeous resort. The beach is beautiful, clean and usually not too crowded. The rooms are clean, very nice bathrooms. Service is impeccable, very professional and friendly. The best part aside from the obvious beach, THE FOOD IS AMAZING!! The french restaurant, the sushi place, the beachside buffets for lunch- it's all super tasty and there are so many options. You could spend a week here and go to a different restaurant each night. The shows are decent at night. I really have nothing bad so say about this place, I would go back in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: make sure you indicate if you want one king bed instead of two twins- somehow we got two twins inste...

This resort provided just what we were looking for when it came to a quick getaway for a "babymoon". It never seemed full...though every night at dinner the lobby area was bustling. We were simply looking for a quiet resort with a nice pool and great beach. This place hit the mark. I can't say much for nightlife...as we typically spent the day in the sun, had a relatively early dinner, then walked the resort before heading back to our room. The food was typical all-inclusive caliber...some hit, some miss. My husband especially loved the sushi bar. We made it a point to stop there every night. All in all, we had a wonderfully relaxing vacation...just what we were hoping for.

Friends and I were there from January 31 to Feb, 7, 2013. We found this resort one of the best we stayed at so far. The room was spacious and very clean. We had no ocean view however, it was very private with a large balcony facing nice palm trees, The beach is amazing and we had plenty of chairs. Nice white sand We never used the pool even though it is huge and beautiful. The whole resort is very well maintained and the staff everywhere is friendly. As far as the restaurants are concerned, we liked most of them, specially the Japanese and the Mexican. One little problem they seem to have at the French restaurant is the cut of the filet mignon; even though mine was cooked to perfection (medium rare), it was very hard to cut into pieces and chew. None of us could eat their steak. For breakfasts and dinners, we always went to the buffet close to the beach and have only compliments to give for the very large selection and excellent food they serve. The fact that this resort is adults only makes a big difference in the sense that it is very quiet. Believe me, I have nothing against family resorts (I am a grandfather myself) but the fact there are no kids runnig around in the restaurants or buffet rooms makes the atmosphere peaceful and even more pleasant. We enjoyed every minute of our stay at that resort and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful quiet resort.

I have been to quite a few all inclusive resorts in Mexico and I have to say, this one was the best. The resort in beautiful, the staff is so accomodating and friendly and the food was great for an all inclusive. We upgraded to a silver suite (for i think $85) which gave us a nicer room and access to an exclusive swimming pool. For both of those reasons I recommend upgrading to the silver suite. The exclusive swimming pool always had chairs available (the other main pool did not), it was quiet and the chairs were much nicer than those at the other pool.

In terms of the a la carte restaurants: we liked the Japanese restaurant called Ginger. They have Hibachi tables which are fun. You have to get there by 6pm though to make a reservation. We also like the Indonesian Restaurant and the Italian Restaurant. The French restaurant was not my favourite but the ambience we great. For lunch we did the buffet that was away from the beach. We liked the fresh fish that they cook right there, fresh guacamole and chips, fresh fruit. Burgers were pretty good too.

For coffee in the morning, go to the lobby bar if you like lattes or straight espressos. they do it well!

Drinks - they serve grey goose here so i enjoyed a grey goose with orange juice and grapefruit juice. they also do good pina coladas.

In terms of tips: We gave about $2 at breakfast and $2 at lunch and then $5 at dinner. We tipped about $1 for each round of drinks. We also tipped the housekeepers $2 each day.

Overall, we love it here. Was great for the two of us but would also be fun to come with a group of couples. Would definitely come back !

Room Tip: We stayed in building 2 which was great. Nice and quiet. I would ask to stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor...

What can I say this resort was great, from the rooms to the food, etc.The hotel staff were very very helpful and friendly to name a few - Ceceiliox he was always there if you wanted a chair, or anything he seemed to appear out of no where, great person, Bianco @ the Tequila bar was very friendly and efficient, did not have to tell her twice what we drank, maybe because we were there a lot, and Ana at the Tequila Bar was also great.

My wife and I went for our honeymoon & we had a few unfortunate incidences.

1) My wallet had a 500 pesos stolen from it
2) My wife had her underwear stolen from the line

Now it is a beautiful hotel with reasonably good service, however, if you want to leave the hotel it is a pain in the neck. This hotel is a place you come to and stay.

Food was average. Buffet was not spectacular compared to other hotels in Cancun that we have stayed in. Additionally they have numerous "higher end" restaurants that is inside the hotel. The decor of these restaurants was fabulous the food was average.
