we stayed just one night here at this little mini farm and hotel. Overall not a bad place if you know what to expect. We rented a cabin and the price is a bit high for what you get. The staff is a husband and wife who are very nice and helpfull. The owner lives out of the country and you can tell a little. The cabins are sort of rustic with very hard beds. I couldnt sleep more than one night because the beds are so hard. They are new and clean but the owner must have bought the super hard lasts forever mattress. It was nice to be able to stay out in the country and enjoy all the animals they have on this farm. We have our own transportation and I dont think I would stay here unless I had my own car and snacks etc. You are out in the country and the rooms lack any sort of mini fridge or even a shower curtain. They are more like a rustic cabin you might rent from the US Park Service than a hotel. If the owner would finish the rooms with more amenities than it could be great. They do give you a nice breakfast and staying a night out in the Cajamarca countryside is something most people never get to do. Like most properites in Peru if the owner would just put the finishing touches on it and have European or American stayle management then this place would rate a 5 star review.

Room Tip: the rooms in the main lodge are OK and the cabins are the most quiet
