Nice Hot waterfall. There are public pools which hot water fall in. If you entered the cave you feel hot steam as natural Sauna. There is also Evson Hotel if you plan to sleep. It is the perfect to spend a half day combined with dead see since it almost 20 KM away. So, it will be Water Day !!!

However, there are no professional services such as locker, towel, etc. Bring your staffs.

The drive to Hammamat is very interesting, via the mountains and the deserted landscape. Taking a bath is really unusual, being surrounded by jordanians, men and women, with their clothes. Relaxing and natural environment. The water is not soft though, after the bath you feel relaxed but your skin is not soft.

entrance ticket costs 15JD per person. change into your swimming gear and head for the public section of the hot springs. the water coming down from the cliff is warm and healing. take a dip into the pool and you immediately feel refreshed and relaxed. sit in the water for some time and the body is naturally massaged. one can stand directly under the falling water but be careful as the water can be hot. spend atleast one to two hours at this place, worth the money spent. the road to the springs is very scenic.

Overcharged, overcrowded and dirty.

The public hot springs are nog the same as the Six Senses resort, so if you read reviews make sure they correspond to the one you plan to visit.

For the public waterfalls they charge you 15JD (unless you are a local). There are 3 waterfalls, one for women, behind a wall and iron door, there is nobody because the water is boiling hot... One for families, very small and also to hot to enter; and finally the "big" waterfall. No the beautiful one you see on websites or when you google Ma'in, but a concrete basin, with a reasonably sized waterfall, totally overcrowded even on a weekday.
Not much tourists I read in other reviews, sure, that's true, but that means most are smart enough to spend their time in better places :-)

In Jordan expect to pay the 'forgeiner" premium for all attractions. Jordinians only pay pence of the price whilst gulf countries pay around half. We bit the bullet with all the places we went as its a once in a life time.
After paying 15 Jod to enter each and excited to have a dip in the springs and take some family photos we could not of been more disappointed. The whole place was absolutely filthy, Yes the springs/ waterfalls were nice to look at but the facilities and how people used the area was awful. People were sleeping all around the springs as if the had had a heavy night on the drink. People had hung all their clothes around the whole area as i am sure they had done their washing in the springs. As a results this attracted so many flies as there was rubbish all over the floor..
We were there 5 minutes and left..............
