“Comfy and clean!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2012

Booked the twin room for a night during our road trip. Was greeted by Anna when we arrived. The room is small but lovely and cosy. The shower room is spacious and spotlessly clean! Shampoo, soap, etc are provided. What a good place to rest after a long drive. I'm on o2 and there was no phone signal but the B&B provides free wifi - helps in getting in touch with family and friends. Love the smell in the room; clean and nice smelling sheets and linens, we couldn't ask for more! Jon prepared delicious breakfast in the morning. They also have a cute and well behaved dog named Toby - what a cutie! We were also given a 20% discount card for meals at a nearby hotel. Beautiful view on Kyle of Tongue right behind the B&B. Overall, nice stay, would definitely recommend and the price is reasonable too!

Stayed here for one night in August. Spotlessly clean and modern facilities attached to a cafe and craft shop run by the proprietors John and Anna. A little way out of the main village of Tongue but as we had a car that was not any problem.
It was the best value B&B of our two week trip and is recommended.
Only down side was the presence (outside) of midges at this time of year - but you can't blame the B&B for that!

Room Tip: All rooms were spotless and comfortable

Not normally a big fan of b&b-ing but I would absolutely return to Weavers. Incredibly clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast cooked to order and even a delightful shop stocking really pretty gifts (for yourself and others). What more could you ask for? Parking? Tick. Views? Tick.
Enjoy. We certainly did!

Hi folks , well if your passing and need a quiet stop , and happy for a early snack , this little gem has all you need.

Bedrooms - 10/10
Clean - 10/10 - .? Wish they would come home and sort me out
Breakfast - 10/10

Can't understand the negative 1 review , mabe they are just one of these people who are har hard to please ....!
I have a sister just like that .

For the cost involved you could not beat this ' Anna was surprised that I gave her more for my stay .. I think people should understand a BB is hard work and for the others who are not happy ! It's not trying to be a Hotel

All I can end with is this is a happy chappie ,and will recommend this place ..

Enjoy

My son and two friends recently did "LeJog" in aid of Chase Childrens Hospice Guildford, and to set them up for the last leg from Tongue to John o'Groats, I booked us all into Weavers. A great experience - Anna and John made us so welcome. The rooms, a family room with double and a single bed with full sized bath and shower, and a twin room with power shower were immaculately clean and comfortable. With an early start on the Sunday morning John cooked a fine full Scottish breakfast at 06.45 - not many places could offer such service on a Sunday. A truly excellent experience and one to be repeated in August but not cycling! Douglas, Ricky, Will and Steve. (Douglas was the support team for the last two days in car!)

Room Tip: Either room is good.
