We thoroughly enjoyed our week staying at Seashore Cottage. The view is exceptional, the cottage is well appointed making for a very comfortable stay. We shared the piece and quiet with stags in the garden and the seals in the bay. For a holiday in Lochinver, the location and comfort of this cottage would be hard to beat. Thank you.
Second stay in the Mergenser Lodge and still as amazing as the first visit. 5 star accommodation and the welcome pack that Karen supplies is second to none. Wonderful view from the lodge and sitting at the loch edge watching the sun go down is heaven on earth. Cannot wait to return to this fabulous haven
this lodge is a great place to stay in if you want to visit Gairloch and surroundings - lot to see around. the lodge is very comfortable, well equipped and has a fantastic view on the sea. it is located in a beautiful bay with no cars - only residents including deers sometimes! Karen and Andrew are very nice people - I would highly recommend that place to couples or families
We stayed a week at the lodges. And we were more than satisfied, the lodges are nicely set up and have everything you need on a vacation. There are lots of opportunities to take lovely hikes and explor the highlands. But i have to say, what we enjoyed the most was the view you have from the living room window.
Overall the holiday lodges are a great place if you want to enjoy a relaxing time in stunning scenery
We stayed in a lodge for a week. It had everything you could need. The views over the bay are to die for! You could sit and look at them all day whatever the weather. The green shore areas were perfect for the kids to potter and play. A really superb place to base yourself to explore the area. Some days you will just want to sit on your balcony and admire the view and wildlife. We're already planning to go back.
Stayed here for 4 nights and have to say, one of the best holiday lodges I've stayed in. Welcoming host, Karen, who showed us to the lodge, and was able to give local recommendations for walks, things to do and places to eat was really appreciated. Lovely fresh and modern lodge which was faultlessly clean. Views over the sea are fantastic. All in all, can't fault it :)
Our lodge had a beautiful view out to sea, had everything we needed, clean, tidy and comfortable. The grounds around the lodges are well maintained, with a large lawn area, pebble beaches and an Island to explore. You could have a great time staying around the lodges, but when you venture out you have some of the most stunning scenery in Britain.
Whether its on many of the great walks nearby, or by car, you can never tire of the spectacular landscapes. Lochinver has some great places to eat out, and is only 30 minutes walk away.
