It is reasonably close to the airport. Be sure to use your smart phone to get to it. There are several different ways to get to the hotel.

The kitchenette was nice. I could tell that the hotel is older. However, with the inclusion of the breakfast, it is good value.

This hotel is in a great location near Victoria, just off Trans Canada Highway 1 and on Admirals road. It is about 15 minutes from the Port Angeles Ferry. and along the "Gorge" so there is somewhat of a lakefront view if you have the right room.

The room was okay (carpeting shows wear and even though the room is non-smoking, there is still that smoke odor). It has nice kitchen area with fridge, microwave and sink.

There is a free continental breakfast that is very good with waffles, muffins, hot and cold cereal, coffee, milk, juices. you can sit inside to eat or enjoy the patio area with a view of the lake (reservoir).

For being in town and on a major intersection, it was quiet and the price was okay.

We stayed here for a couple of days as we were trekking around Victoria, Vancouver Island.
The property itself is not new and yes the décor and other items are dated.

This being said, the rooms are clean, Wi-Fi is Omni present and fast.
The water pressure was great. House keeping was satisfactory. They have a daily breakfast which starts at 7 am, kind off late if you are an early riser. The set up is and items offered are just alright.

Now the great things about this property is it's location near Buchart garden, several parks, Port Renfrew and many other locations on the island. Even downtown Victoria is only a 10 to 15 minute drive.
There is an excellent walkway next to the property going around the lake. A fantastic Indian restaurant up the street (you do have to drive to it) and some more great parks nearby.

Now, if you want to walk into Victoria and have luxury, this is not the place for you. It is great as base to explore the island and to get to at the end of the day. We had a 1 bedroom suite with kitchenette. Check in was smooth and friendly. Hanna was very welcoming.

In short. Enjoyed the location, a bit dated, friendly people and a good deal for the money.

This is rated as a three star but in my honest opinion more like a 2 star just because no elevators to second level and only one ice machine for entire complex. other than that room were very clean with plenty of towels and nice size flat screen quite and comfortable I booked through Travelocity and saved about $20 a night which included breakfast not a bad deal for $60 including tax. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good also I might add that they had in room coffee with 2 servings instead of just 1 in most rooms, its the little things that make it better some times.

Room Tip: book with third party and save an additional $20 a night plus tax

I talked with hotel management and they were unable to post on your site that there was MAJOR construction cutting 3 of their 4 entrances off. I had no problem myself since I already knew where to go.

This location IS NOT a Comfort Inn & Suites - it is "Econo Lodge Inn & Suites" which more properly reflects the status of this property.
We have stayed at this location several times over the past years and fully agree with its new Rating within the Choice Club program.
The kitchenette room #136 that we were assigned was clean, nicely appointed, and had a reasonably stocked kitchen area.
There was a nice view of the Gorge from the breakfast area - which had a wide range of offerings.

Room Tip: Spacious kitchenettes on the main floor facing the office.
