Its a very beautiful B&B with wonderful views and Karelia is a truly great host.
Everything is decorated with love for detail, we immediately felt at home.
The pets (cat & dog) are the most loveable creatures.
The breakfast was one of the best we had in Scotland so far.
We highly recommend staying at Colonsay B&B and would certainly come back.

We stumbled accross Kalie's B & B quite accidentally & were so glad we did. From the moment we arrived Kalie made us feel very welcome & at home. She is a great host & is happy to accommodate guests needs & also has a great deal of knowledge & history of the area to share. The B & B itself is a purpose built house with large guest rooms decorated with good taste, colourful & emmaculately clean. Their is a large area downstairs to relax in & a sunny verandah to take in the tranquil surroundings. Kalie provides guests with a very substancial home cooked brekky giving guests a good start to their day for exploring more of the amazing places the west coast of Scotland has to offer. Thank you Kalie for making our stay so comfortable, easy & enjoyable. Lynette & Glen Pidcock from N.S.W. AUSTRALIA

We stayed three nights at Colonsay B&B in June 2012. It is a really precious house situated right above Loch Torridon in the little hamlet of Arrina. Highlight of this B&B is the sun deck in front of the house which provides a perfect view over the beautiful garden, the coast line, Loch Torridon and the surrounding mountains. In case of unfavourable weather conditions a sunroom provides the same view. The rooms as well as the whole house are furnished tastefully and clean. Guests are invited to use the living room with tv downstairs and the wide variety of books. Kalie, the host, gave us a very warm welcome. She was very helpful and gave us excellent hints for having dinner. The breakfast was excellent and rich. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

A gem on the beautiful Applecross Peninsular and our stay here was more than the sum of its parts. A spectacular but peaceful location, good rooms, great breakfast and a wonderful host. Kalie minded not that we arrived late after a spledid dinner on the deck of the hotel at Sheildagh (in fact it was her suggestion) and after a welcome cup of tea walked us to the top of the hill behind the house to watch the sun set over the Hebrides. We travelled with a vegetarian couple which Kalie handled with ease to provide interesting breakfast options for us all. Breakfast was followed by a guided walk around her lovely garden which the original owners established with lots of plants from the gardens at Inverewe. The house has 2 bedrooms (double +twin) with a shared bathroom. Whilst the absence of en suite bathrooms may never allow a five star rating it was definitely a five star experience for us.
