I had stayed at Willow Court several times before and knew that is was about to be extensively refurbished! I could not believe my eyes when I arrived. What a spectacular change, obviously at great cost!!! Fabulous rooms with wonderful colour co-ordination - obvioulsy someone with taste at the helm. Great new beds, flat screen tv's and bathrooms to die for complete with power showers, chrome towel rails, fully tiled walls, fluffy towels and 'Neutrogena' products, usually only found in five star hotels.
Wonderful position overlooking the lovely friendly town of Jedburgh and so convenient for everything. Sherry on arrival, stylish conservatory to sit in, fresh flowers etc., and an interesting host who concentrates on attention to detail! Good breakfast choice with the option for change if desired and a healthy option as well!
Definitely on the list of 'must stay agains' for the future. Great prices as well. I have stayed at hotels four times the price or more and not received these standards!!!

You're unlikely to find Willow Court by driving around, but it has a delightfully secluded garden setting less than 5 minutes walk from the town centre. Having been in the guest house business ourselves, my wife and I can certainly appreciate the work that has gone in to the refurbishment, the general cleanliness, and the friendly welcome offered by Mike and David.

Our double room (£60.00 per night) was tastefully furnished and equipped with everything we needed. We stayed for a Thursday night heading south and the following Monday night heading home, and as my wife mentioned at breakfast that she would have preferred a blanket on the first stay, we found a new one supplied for our return visit!

Breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent, and included a mouth-watering Egg Benedict (the last time I saw this on a breakfast menu it was £6.00 extra).

Altogether an excellent example of the value offered by staying at a good B&B instead of a hotel. During the intervening three nights we stayed at a "country house hotel" in East Ayton, near Scarborough, at roughly the same B&B rate, and had to put up with a very tired room and poor service.

Willow Court was an excellent place to stay on my journey from Edinburgh down to England. Jedburgh is a charming little Scottish town with a wealth of tourist attractions within easy reach.

The accommodation, recently renovated, provided 5* facilities for a 3* price. I had a lovely twin room to myself with ensuite bathroom, (the shower was really good). The carpets, bedding and decore all brand new and very tastefully done. The host was very welcoming and helpful and a great cook. A "Full Scottish" breakfast is a meal that's hard to beat and highly recommended here!

Apart from comfortable, new beds, my twin room room facilities included a very fast and free broadband connection, (much better than my expensive hotel the previous night in Edinburgh), a clever wall mounted flat screen TV with integrated DVD (I should get one of those for home!), tea/coffee making facilities, plenty of mirrors and a nice sized wardrobe with a very colourful dressing gown.

All in all, I was more than happy with the standard of accommodation and the price and would have no hesitation recommending a stay here to other travellers.

What a pleasant surprise to find somewhere like this. Offers 5* accommodation which is excellent value. I stayed in the room overlooking the garden and town with the king size bed. For £65.00 this was great value as it includes an ensuite shower room which has all been recently fitted. l understand the whole house has been renovated to the same standard. I even helped myself to a free sherry on arrival. Mike the owner, is very helpful and recommended a good place to eat in town. Mind you his breakfast menu is great and I enjoyed all I had. This could not have been any better than my visit to Gleneagles a few weeks ago.
