hustle and bustle in the evening but will get a table with a little wait. staff on the ball al the time. tall young guy, Manu, moves graciously around, very attentive, pleasant manners with his other customers and his colleagues. food is delicious- we had a huge plates of calamares- big chunks, not oily, not chewy. mains- rice with seafood- plenty of food, lots of fish pieces, large mussels. wine suggestion was great, not too dry Albarinho wine, just perfect. a bonus- Manu speaks good English, explains the dishes, will ask if everything ok, communicates well with all other diners. we felt well looked after, food was as expected, and the evening has not robbed the bank. we went back a couple more times as other escapades in neighbouring restaurants proved disappointing. lunch menu was equally satisfying, fish was fresh, house salad- (russian salad) was very nice too. recommend this place wholeheartedly

We spent about two weeks in Baiona and tried several restaurants-this was by far the best dining experience not only from culinary( extra), but also from service point of view. Atop of that, the staff speaks some English-which is rare in here.........
Rate it 5 out of 5

We were still a bit hungry when we went out of this restaurant, that's a good indicator that it wasn't a satisfying experience !
We had a salad (we shared), with iberic ham and scallops. It was very good. After that we had 2 fishes, sea bass, with ridiculous portions of vegetables, it was just to decorate the plate. Fish was good but mine needed a few more minutes of cooking. And finally, 2 deserts with a very poor quality : my chocolate soufflé was the worst chocolate desert I have ever had, it didn't taste like chocolate and it was liquid !!
All this for 80 €, it really wasn't worth it !
Despite that, the service was good. Someone translated us all the menu in French, that was nice. The other waiters were ok, even if they were very busy.
