“Lovely villa in a great location”

Arriving late in the evening we were met by the owner who showed us into the villa, and made sure we had everything we needed. He very thoughtfully gave us a chilled bottle of wine and water and a bowl of fruit, including lemons from his own trees. We woke up the next day to stunning views. The villa is tastefully furnished and spacious and very comfortable for a family of four. It is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The local supermarket is just a five minute walk away and the lovely town of Soller is just ten minutes beyond that. The tram to the port makes a nice trip and a taxi back is only 8-10 euros. The roads in the immediate vicinity of the villa are quite narrow so a smaller higher car would be advisable. The villa is on the edge of town in a semi rural location, which makes for amazing night skies - we had great views of the Milky Way and shooting stars! This was a very peaceful and relaxing holiday. I would highly recommend Villa Ana and we hope to return.

“Beautiful villa in a fabulous location”

The photos do not do this villa justice. It is lovely. One large double bedroom and a smaller twin. Lovely large lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen has everything you need and there is a dishwasher/washing machine. Good sized pool and the terrace gets the sun from 9.30 til sundown. The property is set in a garden full of lemon trees and is accessed via the garage. The property is set on the edge of town in a semi-rural area. The are other houses nearby but the villa is not really overlooked by the neighbours. Very quiet except for cocks crowing, dogs barking and birdsong. 15 min walk to town and 5 min walk to the supermarket. Roads to the villa are narrow and windy but can be accessed by a normal sized car.

“Outstanding Value, Great Location”

Having stayed in numerous hotels, this was our first experience of a private vacation rental. Safe to say that based on this experience it will not be our last.

Located just outside of town, we were a little concerned about accessibility of necessary facilities as we would be without a car. Our concern turned out to be unfounded. There was a local Spar an easy 5 minute walk away and a further 5 minute walk to the centre of town. We had two very young children with us and found the walk to town to be perfectly safe, with appropriate caution.

The villa was fabulous. It was very well equipped with good quality fixtures and fittings. The rooms were of good proportion and overall provided a very comfortable living experience. Everything worked well. Wifi is important to us and it worked perfectly. The terrace is simply sumptuous, of good size, overlooking a garden of orange and lemon trees and surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. The pool is larger than you might expect and very well maintained. In a quiet location, we experienced no disturbance of any kind throughout our stay and felt totally relaxed.

The owner was very responsive to communication both before and during our stay but was also unobtrusive. He met us on arrival to supply keys and other than that we saw him only once, though always felt he was available if needed.

Overall, we found Villa Ana to be a high quality accommodation in a prime location, professionally managed and at a very reasonable price.

“The house represents very good value in a splendid area.”

My wife and I stayed at this house for 3 weeks in February. The house is comfortable and well equipped and we enjoyed being there. It is secure within the garden of another house in the same ownership, separated by an orchard of orange and lemon trees. The owner was very friendly and quick to respond if anything went wrong but otherwise we didn't see him. The area is semi-rural, although only a few streets away from grand mansions and the town centre. Very easy walk to shops and the heart of the town centre - about ten minutes to the main square. We walked into the town during the day and evenings - there is street lighting from the house. There are great walks direct from the house over the headland to Port Soller and up to Fournalutx. Because of the narrow lanes in this part of Soller a small hire car is best. Overall, the house represents very good value in this splendid area.
